The reputation of Aceyalone has steadily grown since the world first heard him rapping back in the day with his legendary group, Freestyle Fellowship. In 1994, Aceyalone stepped outside of his group and began work on his 1st solo LP, ìAll Balls Donít Bounceî. After releasing his first solo album, Aceyalone embarked on his career as an independent artist and formed his own label, Project Blowed Recordings. Between 1998 and 2002, Aceyalone worked on many projects; including the collaborative LP with Abstract Rude, entitled ìThe A-Teamî, another solo record ìAccepted Eclecticî and a compilation from his label Project Blowed. In 2002, Aceyalone partnered his label with New York based company, Decon, and began work on his most recent solo album ìLove and Hateî. With the success of ìLove and Hateî, Aceyalone decided it was time to once again shine the spotlight on his Project Blowed brethren and he and his crew went back into the studio to record ìProject Blowed presents the Good Brothersî. With this record, Aceyalone once again proves that few crews can match the lyrical diversity of his camp. Rapper, nurturer, label head, Aceyalone is all that, and so much more. His thriving partnership with RJD2 on his new album ìMagnificent Cityî will likely turn many ears in 2006.
