2nd Annual Pontiac Virtual NCAA® Final 4®

2K Sports and Pontiac proudly announced today the 2nd Annual Pontiac Virtual NCAA® Final 4® Tournament. Fans will have the opportunity to play every match-up of the actual NCAA Tournament before it happens through head-to-head online play on College Hoops 2K7, exclusively on Xbox Live. The four finalists will be invited to show off their skills in Atlanta and play the actual NCAA Men's Final Four match-ups in front of roaring fans. The champion of the Pontiac Virtual NCAA Final 4Tournament will drive away in a new 2007 Pontiac G5 GT.

"The NCAA Final Four is where college spirit combines with raw talent to create an atmosphere that is unrivaled in the sports world," said Erik Whiteford, vice president of marketing for 2K Sports. "We wanted our fans to experience the same rush that the NCAA student athletes do when they hit the court by teaming up with Pontiac for the second year to bring the tournament to the virtual court with College Hoops 2K7."

Registration is now open for the Pontiac Virtual NCAA Final 4. To qualify for the tournament, contestants must have an Xbox Live Gold account and complete 10 online, ranked games of College Hoops 2K7 for either the Xbox® or Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment systems from Microsoft before March 10, 2007. The top ranked 192 contestants at the end of the qualifying period will advance to the full online tournament where they will play for a chance to be one of four finalists to battle in a live, head-to-head competition in Atlanta, Georgia on March 29-April 3, 2007.

Finalists will receive a trip for two to the 2007 NCAA Men's Final Four in Atlanta where they will showcase their virtual hoops skills by playing the Final Four match-ups, with the winner receiving a brand new 2007 Pontiac G5 GT, all courtesy of Pontiac – the official Performance Machines of the NCAA.
