So I'm playing my game and the puck get's behind the goalie right. And then all of a sudden he has it in his glove. So I checked the replay couldn't believe what happened! Sega  !!!!

how did you take those screenshots anyway?

This is ghetto, but I don't have a TV. The one I had burned out so instead of buying a new one I just got a TV Tuner card ($40). It has a video input so I just use that to play PS2. Took screenshots that way.

Only downside is the resolution is pretty bad and the video is fairly pixelated, but it works.

That looked like a goal to me. As long as it crosses the red line it's a goal.

well in the 'rules', the whole puck has to be 'All the way over' the line for it to be a goal, maybe they mixed up the puck with the shadow (shadow isnt all the way over the line)

That's the puck halo?

Bad luck dude, :D It's just one goal. But you lost that game didn't ya....my guess is by one goal. If that's the case then hahahahhahahahhaha....Seriously I feel your pain bro. If you won then what do you care about one lousy goal!?

It's not the first time the puck's done the magic disappearing act. It's not just one lousy goal, it's a constant issue with the puck's collision with the goalie. It seems as though there's only one glove save animation that's used for every shot saved glove side, no matter where the puck is nor where the glove is, the puck always gets sucked into the glove. I don't know if I lost or not, I probably reset.

in your first pic, it seems the net is off the moorings, or is that a glitch?

Wow I had to do a double take after that. So I started up the game and tried to get the same look.

It's from the perspective of the view. The red crossbar covers all three sides of the net, and in the picture, it is prefectly in line with the redline. The white is the bottom of the net, not the sides, and the bottom of the net sort of looks like a horseshoe.

Net is on the moorings.

If the net is on the moorings that's a great trick on the first screenshot.....it looks like it's off for sure.

A good optical illusion. Look closer and you'll notice that the post is entirely red - you're seeing the white part of the "skirt" (is that right?) of the net that bends inwards and looks like it's a post. Very hard to spot though.

Yea I wasn't trying anything tricky, just so I could get a good view of the pucks relation to the goal

i hate when this kind of thing happens (expecially in real life)

yesterday i shot and scored and it bounced out and the goalie grabbed it, the refs were out of position and didnt see it so they didnt count it as a goal :(
