Okay, I just started a new franchise mode with the Kings as my team. And I want to get either Yao Ming, or Lebron James for my team. But I am not willing to give up Peja, or Webber. Does anyone know how to get Lebron with all the default sac players?
I know that if I give the cavs payton, they will give up lebron instantly, so if anyone can figure out how to trade for payton, that would be great.
But if anyone cant figure that out, see if you can get Yao. I am thinking if I trade them (the rockets) Pao Gasol, I can get Yao, but I still cant get pao. I almost can get him, having the little ball just go over the last line, but they still wont budge.
Well if anyone could help me out at all, it would be greatly appreciated...

PLAN A: If you desperately need them, just use the trade override setting. When starting your franchise you can set it "ON" and than you can make any trade you'd like.
PLAN B: Trade all your crappy players for as many draft picks as possible - finish a season very low - go the the lottery - get the n°1 pick - get the best rookies - trade them for LeBron and Yao.
PLAN C: Buy the best rated free agents (Kemp, Dickerson, etc.) - keep trading for players with better rating - get LeBron and Yao.

This stuff is easy. All you need is to figure out a plan. I honestly can land any player in any team. Besides, you do have some players on your roster with great rating that you won't need with LJ23 and Yao. Trade them.

Right there thats cheat way. If you wanna cheat do it. But if you want a realistic franchise, try real trades and not cheat trades.

Sign free agents... trade them for better players or good picks... should be pretty easy

That's the cheapest part of franchise... trading for Yao, LeBron or Melo. If you absolutely need to do it, then try Christie and a 1st rounder. In real life those teams would never trade those players, so if you do it takes the fun out of franchise.

exactly
...try hiring a great coach and make an average player roster... it is way more fun then having an all-star team
