Reasonable list of MUST HAVES

This is a list of things that i believe must be in the game
In order from most important to least

1. Franchise
Definatly needs to be better, needs to rival EAs Dynasty Mode, it shouldn't just be an elongated season mode.

Injury slider, shouldn't have so many injuries, i had my top 5 guys injured for 4 weeks or more in the first 2 games of the season.

Injured players should heal during Playoffs (put playoff schedual on a Calender, i think that will fix the bug)

Fix Bug in Injury Menu (game freezes)

2. Create A Team
By adding this, people can create a team they want that the creators did not put into the game. that way people can create their favorite team of all time.
In it you should be able to create a uniform, arena, and add the players you want to your team.

3. Have Better Fighting engine, be able to grab jersey, and really fight, not like the crappy one there is now

4. Have more penalties- What happened to Interference, misconducts, and insagating

5. The goalies are good, but they should give up soft goals once in a while, or just some goals where they miss the puck, like over the sholder or five hole. Not just breakaways and one-timers

6. In Game Play have better and more Dekes, their all practically the same, except for the one where you stop.

7. More and better music, the only good song is We will rock you, but it gets kind of annoying after you here it ten time in a row, basically more variety.

8. In editing a player or creating, their should be the option of having the old all steel skates, and no helmet.

9. More unlockables, good teams like th 72 Canada team or 72 Soviet Team.

10. Better Commentary-Gary thorne and Clement are great but to repeditive, especially with the "sholder hits" add more lines, also since it is ESPN use Melrose, Pang, Levy, etc. as well

11. Be able to unlock classic Arenas, like orignal six arenas.

12. You can get rid of quick mode, it is an exhibition mode with less teams, getting rid of it would free up space for more stuff.

13. Make ref less stupid- collides way too much for a referree.

14.Unlock/have more mini-games or skills competitioins

15. Format fastest skkater differently, its hella hard to get him to skate fast. (for me at least)

I know I have plenty of things I could write here....I agree with everything that is said above...

Off the top of my head I'd like to add, the ability to play tournaments with unlocked teams!

Another thing I noticed last night....maybe this functionality is already in the game but I can't figure it out:

In Franchise....the ability to view Scoring leaders for Defenceman only, or what about Rookie scoring leaders.

One minor Quibble.. Have the lettering of "SKYREACH CENTRE" on the Oilers' center ice actually match the font of the real-life skyreach centre.

Gameplay is the best I've ever seen from a hockey game, so anything below is minor compared to what really matters --- the first hockey game I've ever played that puts the GAME first, so you don't get the feeling that you're standing at an arcade machine.

I'm a stat junkie, so I'd like to see minutes on the ice, and be able to sort stats by forwards, defensemen, etc.

Haven't made it to the playoffs yet... that means ALL injuries? Obviously with major stuff, one might be out for the playoffs, but if I lost someone for the playoffs in the quarterfinals because of a day-to-day or week-or-two injury, I might have a conniption ;)

Very annoying.

Yeah... not a big complaint, but I don't get any major or double minors... I know double minors are hard to come by to begin with, but their should be majors... I've gotten 2 minutes for some vicious boardings :)

5. The goalies are good, but they should give up soft goals once in a while, or just some goals where they miss the puck, like over the sholder or five hole. Not just breakaways and one-timers

My goalie gives up some softies every once in a while.... it's mostly defensive breakdowns/onetimers, but the cpu tends to get some soft goals, too. I find myself relying too much on one-timers though. I spend a lot of time trying to get rebounds, setting screens, etc; but I hardly get anything out of it. There's a fine line... From years of EA's, I'm glad I have to work for goals, so don't go too easy too often.

Again, not a huge problem, IMO, but not one that would take tons of work either. There are a few glitches... they'll call my goalie by the wrong name, or call it a shorthanded attempt when it's a shot in the PP end. Small glitches, easy fixes.

Never used it, so yeah, get rid of it :)

Yeah, I turned collisions off after a while... liked the idea, but it was too frequent.

I was surprised not to see the 3-on-0 breakaway relay... could have some fun with that one.
