Here's hoping that more franchise makes it to the league play

Every year I hope and hope for the same thing and that's more elements of the franchise make it to the online league version of this game. i really hope they can add some. I really don't see it being a big deal though. madden, i'll give that garbage credit for something, has a feature where you can have an online friend play against you to fill in for the cpu in your franchise. 2K could take this one step further and include it in it's league play. Anyone agree?

That would be pretty cool and have season leagues, where all 162 games with all teams are played.

But man that would be a feat, and hard to keep people coordinated to play. Although it can do a random type thing where if the person who doesn't show up to the game, another takes his place, almost like a "quick match" in shooters or sports games, where it just throws you against someone waiting.

I don't think we'd ever be able to pull out 162 unless we have some hellified dedicated people playing and I mean DEDICATED or severly unemployed.

I agree, that is why there would have to be a random thing, where people connect randomly ... but how do you mean incorporate it in their league mode?

Can you elaborate on how they should implement it?

Well what I'm looking for is more elements like team budgets and budgets dependant on market and performance. Trades could be then be a bit more restrictive as you can't buy what you can't afford. i think this would encourage multiple season leagues and a tighter group of players.

Ahhhh, gotcha! That would be a great idea.

They should do it that way, instead of heads up trading. I know a lot of leagues have commissioners approve of trades before they are done so there is no swindling going on. But having net worth and market value would add a new element.

Yeah man I needed a break. I've been running leagues for the longest and just needed some rest. Also the NBA leagues seem to bring out the cheesiest cats you want to meet and I didn't want to be bothered with that. But of course there will be a MLB league. Hopefully I'll have my 360 repaired and back by then. Just made the call today so I should be getting the shipping box next week. It works now but I have to eject discs between 5 and 10 times before it'll read them as game discs.
