Cubbies all the way....

I could tell from the videos they have, the lineup is wrong....at least not the lineup most cubs fans would agree on. They have Jacque Jones batting 6th and Murton 7th....wrong wrong wrong.

Soriano
Murton
Lee
Ramirez
Jones
Barrett
Derosa
Cedeno
P

Talks of Jones being shopped are still possible and Pie being called up...but 2k7 I don't like the lineup given....but it's ok, no biggy

I always try to convince myself with a below average team, but every year i just can't help but using my mets. It may be even more exciting this year with the question marks we have in our rotation.

You must mean a fourth place finish in their division instead of the usual fifth.

I'll be running two 'chises... one with the Red Sox, and then another with a not-so-good NL team. I'll definitly look to get younger, so that means I'll probally send Lowell, Tavarez or even Willy Mo - he just doesn't do to much for me - packing, in return for a closer and/or 3rd Baseman.

Anybody have any moves they'll make?

Mets are a good choice:

Classic stadium - check
Unis with pinstripes - check
East Coast media-loved team - check
Starting pitcher that gets strike calls on balls 8 inches off the plate (Glavine) - check

I’ll be using the Giants. They have some good pitchers in the minors and with the question marks in the bullpen and the aging lineup it should make for an interesting franchise.

Braves all the way baby...

Andruw, Chipper, Frenchy, Smoltz, Hudson, and a new improved bullpen with Gonzalez anchoring it down in closer...this is going to be a great year. :)

I'm going to be using the Angels. I can't wait to exploit Matthew's Home-Run robbing ability and with the combination of Speire, Shields and K-Rod.. I'm going to be lights out offline and Online.

RTT Fact: RTT plans to purchase MLB 2K7 for the 360 no matter the reviews at sometime.

Astros baby!!! El Caballo hitting behing Big Puma (lee hitting behind berkman for you non-fans). The pitching rotation is questionable on the back end, but the line-up is 100% improved from 2006. NL central champs!

Give me my Jays. I'm not a fan of the Rogers Centre, but they're my team. There's nothing better than going into Yankee Stadium and Fenway with the divison on the line (in the game of course, hasn't happened in real life in a long time).

Im not going to insult you on your awful grammer even though you are a yankee fan cause, well i just dont feel up to it.
Anyway ive been a mets fan for life, and a yankee hater for just as long. And do u no why people decided to jump on the mets bandwagon last year? Because we are an exciting, and young team, who's two franchise players (Reyes and Wright) as of last year, were being paid less in thier total combined salaries than...Sidney Posnon (among others.) Were fast, exciting and just fun to watch, and not just a bunch of overpaid, boring players like you will find in yankeeland.

Complete with such exciting young players as Julio Franco(48), Moises Alou (40), Tom Glavine (40), Jose Valentin (37), Damien Easley (37), Orlando Hernandez (37 at least), Billy Wagner (35), Pedro Martinez (35), Shawn Green (34), Paul LoDuca (34), Carlos Delgado (34), Guillermo Mota (33), Scott Schoenwies (33) and David Newhan (33). When over half of your 25 man roster is over the age of 33 as of today I am not sure that you can call yourself a young team.

A little more on how young and exciting the Mets are. The Mets average age for men on their 40 man roster is 29.7 making them the 3rd oldest team in Major League Baseball behind only the Astros 29.8 yrs old and the Cardinals also 29.8 years old. The old overpaid Yankees are only 29.3 on average so it looks like the first team in New York to draw social security will be the Mets.

He's talking about LAST season, Half the players you have there havent played in a Met UNi Schoeneweis, Newhan, Easley, Alou. By the way most of the vets that were on the team really helped out the young guys, espically Julio Franco. He's like a second bench coach

He was saying that the Mets were/are young. well if you take out Newhan, Easley, Schoenweis and Alou and add back in the players from last year that I didn't list, Roberto Hernandez (42), Mike Difelice (37), Cliff Floyd (34), Chad Bradford (32), Steve Trachsel (36), Darren Oliver (36), Ricky Ledee (33), Michael Tucker (35), Chris Woodward (30) and Victor Zambrano (31) then the team gets even older. Thanks for your input you really helped me to make my point about this exciting YOUNG team. You really came through big in defense of your team on this one.

WAIT,WAIT. ALright, Alright. You got us there But you are listing crappy, benchwarmers (Besides Bradford) When we mean YOUNG We mean our KEY players. Reyes, Wright , Beltran, ChaveZ, Perez, Milledge, Sanchez, . You arent looking at it closely

CARDS2501
January 22nd, 2007, 03:42 PM
crappy benchwarmers? Oliver pitched 6 innings in relief of your young pitcher Maine in the NLCS, Trachsel has been your 3rd starter for years, Cliff Floyd was your starting left fielder, Chad Bradford was one of your main relievers and Victor Zambrano was so good you traded SCott Kazmir to get him. So once again you have proven you have no idea what you are talking about. Now on to your KEY players. Milledge has played a total of 56 games in his career and he is a .241 hitter. Thats pretty key right there and chances are he will be traded before next August anyway. Endy Chavez is a 28 year old light hitting backup outfielder thats not exactly young or key. Dauner Sanchez is a middle reliever who threw 50 innings last year again not key and at 27 years old not young considering most baseball experts say that players peak at age 27. Carlos Beltran is 29 and will be 30 in April thats not what I would call young either. Reyes and Wright are good young even exciting players but just about every team in MLB has 2 good young exciting players on it.

Of course my Tigers. I can't wait to see Verlander with proper ratings and what Zumaya can do in video games. I wonder if they had to adjust the fastball rating to compensate him easily hitting 101 mph and sometimes 102 or 103. I bet they had to implement it into the game so that players could actually pitch it too.
