BUG WITH PATCH (2k Read)

I have Xbox 360, and it just updated a patch on 1/20/2007. Now my game freezes in legacy whenever I reach the list of transfers in the off-season. I've tried reloading a different save point and simming until the off-season with the same result. I started a new career and simmed to the off-season with the same result. This is a HUGE problem because now I can't complete more than a year's worth of legacy.

That's strange. Sorry to say, but I've completed an offseason since the update, so it might not be so simple to identify it as a patch glitch.

I thought this might have happened too, but try pressing the start button when you come to the transfers screen. For some reason, the start button advances you through the end of season stuff, rather than calling up the menu with the right stick, or pressing the A button. Hope that helps!

I wish it was as simple as pressing a different button, but I've played through 20 years of legacy, so I've got that down. I have more than one save throughout my legacy, and some of them allow me to continue, but every one after 20 years freezes. And when I say freeze, I mean the game completely freezes where I have to turn it off from the system because the controller won't do anything.

Just wanted to add that my game is now freezing at the transfer screen also. I cleared the cache on my HD and removed the update and now it works like a charm. I guess I'll have to live with not getting free throws for my blocking fouls.

How do you remove the update?

I saw this post and was worried so....I simulated the rest of my season and went through all the post season options and everything is fine....so I don't know, is it still happening to you? Tell me in exact detail what is happening and if this is happening to anyone else post here.

I've started a new legacy, and it's not happening with this legacy. It appears the bug probably just affects games saved prior to the patch.

This happned to me too, how do you get rid of the update?

I think I have experienced the same thing. I had a legacy going with the Winston-Salem State Rams but everytime I got to the conference tourney in my second year the game froze. I took it back to the store and got another one and I still got cut off at the same point in the game. Now I'm in an open legacy and I have no problems and I'm in heading into my fourth season.

Before you do this just know that this will clear ALL software updates.

Sad to say it's freezing on the transfer screen for me as well. 20 years into my legacy, have had a great run and I finally was able to pick up my dream coaching job with my favorite team - Duke.

It's the year 2026 and I finished my first recruiting class and low and behold, the transfer screen comes up and freezes every time.

I was wondering if it had something to do with the year. During my coaching career I had stints at Creighton, Oregon and Syracuse and saved my seasons for those in case I wanted to revisit at a future date. I went back to them and it works just fine getting through the trasnfer screen ....

I don't understand why I'm having trouble now and just when things are getting good. I could retire at Duke....

What year is everyone else freezin up on and more importantly, can someone tell me HOW TO DELETE THE PATCH????????????????????????????????????????????? ???

I am now 26 years into legacy mode and am running into the same glitch... When attempting to load the transfer list, the game freezes, requiring a complete restart of the console... I would rather not delete the update, as I would like previous glitches to remain solved...
