One thing that has annoyed the hell out of me from the time i started playing baseball video games to right now is the constant rediculous arm strength and accuracy of outfielders. This basically lead to it being almost impossible to... 1. Score from second on a single. 2. Score from third or just advance from second to third on a sac fly. 3. or take the extra base going first to third or first to home depending on the situaition.

When i played last year i'd constantly see my player it a ball to the wall and if i tried to score my runner, the outfielder would come up wiht a perfect 2 bounce throw right to the catcher with his heels on the warning track. Since i love baseball so much and know that a fair amount of players cant make a perfect throw to the plate from even Second Base this has just made this annoyance even bigger. I know it is too late for this year and it prob wasnt even addressed (like ive hoped it would be since, oh, 1997). All i want is to have the developers of this game know that this is a real issue and that they have to do some pretty serious tweaking next year so that once and for all this is no longer a problem. Now who's with me?

I agree it seems that that aspect of baseball has never really been addresed in any video game.

In one of the gameplay clips I watched, a player hit a ball to the wall and the announcers mentioned that he'd likely try for 2 (or 3!), but the player slowed up and stayed at first. The throw came in from the outfield on one or two hops, but it was off-line, so I'm hoping that they've made throws from the outfield more realistic.

First of all the runner whover was controlling the player and they decided to stay at first but if they went for the double, they would have slid in safely because the throw was offline.
