Obviously havent played it, but mlb 2k mlb has been a complete joke. Last year it hardly changed and also they still don't know how to fix the double switch feature. Stay away from this crap, I'm buying mlb 07 the show, that game last year was far more enjoyable!!!!!

Well you never know, they guy on the show is now on 2K7 so maybe, just maybe it'll feel more like the show and not a normal 2K game.

Stay away from this crap
You don't know how the game is going to turn out, so maybe just stay away until it's clear the freeze issues have been fixed.

It's not the guy from the show, is it? I thought it was the head guy from the MVP series. Correct me if I'm wrong.

well when mlb07 the show does not come out for the 360 you really have no choice but I might get 07 the show for the PSP if it is better then 2k7.

and another thing I think this game will be good. Nothing ground breaking or anything but I can see it being compared to NBA 2k7. lets just hope for the best

Every year we get EA fanboys, I guess they're so bored playing EA games they got nothing better to do but to come on here and trash the games that they missed out on.

Stop with the EA fanboy accusations. The fact is Kush hasn't produced a video game in the past two years that didn't have serious freeze issues, along with being plagued with glitches. 2K gamers are as sick as anyone of these c.rap games Kush/2K keeps releasing.

2k7 will be 100 times better than last year. They've had some new people work on this years game. I look for this game to excell!

Not only that but think about it. The show comes out in 2 months 4 the ps3 and it's been a no show:confused: If Sony is so confident with their great game then why have we not seen anything:confused: I believe that mlb2k7 will be a good game. I mean we have already seen gameplay which is the most important and it already looks 10 times better then last. So ill buy it. If its not good then ill trade it in and buy the show on the ps3..

Yeah just like choop2k7:confused: It's made by kush and i didnt here about any freezing issues.. C-mon give up the argument. Just cause theres a few people with defective 360's and ps3's doesnt mean everybody has the same problem.

This is why they hired someone new to lead the development of the game. Only time will tell if these things are fixed or not in this years game. Obviously the company realized that the game was in trouble and took steps to fix it. I don't recall the same double switch problem in the MVP series, so hopefully he used his knowledge to correct this.

One thing interesting about the OP's comment is that he says mlb 2K6 "hardly changed". I don't know who would make a statement like that if they actually played the games. There where indeed a good amount of very noticeable changes between 2K5 and 2K6 some for the better some definitely for the worse. But to say it 'hardly changed' sounds like a person speaking from no first hand knowledge.

CHoops was developed by Visual Concepts. Kush Games handles Hockey and Baseball.

That is not the case at all. Facts ARE facts, 2k6 sucked, I bought 2k6 and 06 the show, and I played both. Like I said there where no changes at all, except you can bring your manager out to argue a call. Also if you pinch hit for your pitcher in an inning, you still have to remove him at the start of next inning. You couldn't let him play defense. Just cant see any reason to blow another $30 on something like this??!!!!

I hate both of them 2k football was my favorite and mvp baseball, both are finished,i could have those 2 games with an online server and be set. I guess i hate ea more they started this crap with the nfl licensing crap.I have bought every sport`s game and it`s nothing to write home about, i`m forced tp play madden, and 2k baseball was not fluid enough...i love nba2k7, if they can perfect this mlb2k7 it`s going to be one hell of a year.

Don't judge 2k7 for what happened in 2k6. lots of people lost their jobs for their mistakes. 2k7 is a new year with Ben at the wheel we will see something alot better then last years effort.

You are a Retard... MLB The SHOW.. its like an aracde game man... And you havent even played 2k6 and your talking? Are you serious..... If you played that dumb game... and you saw all the problems in 2k6. All the problems that will not exist in 2k7... you will love the game... You can't compare.. Ever batter will bat like themselves... In MLB THE SHOW... Ortiz looks like a 350 GORILLA.... 2k7 everyone will look, how they look, skinny, small, tall, short,,,, ext.....ext....

Probably not a real good example to use since in real life Ortiz looks like a 350 lb gorilla. He has been first runner up to Patrick Ewing in the athlete most likely to be mistaken for a primate competition for three straight years.

look, mlb the show is a good game that is steady and you always know what you are getting from them, but what makes mlb 2k7 so great specially after a horrible last year is the fact that they are comming back with some really cool stuff makes me think that since you dont know for sure whats going to happen it brings more exitment than getting the same thing year after year with very few modifications, like in the show.

Sure, and all I want for christmas is a PSP.

I hope you know that the lead designer from MVP is now working for 2K's MLB game, and his influence on this game far outweighs anything 2K has done without him. Let's remember, the previous incarnations of the MLB 2K games has always been just adding more and more features as opposed to fixing the core gameplay. That's the main focus now with Ben Brinkman on board, and as long as he is on board for the MLB franchise, consider him a godsend.

This is coming from someone who has played EA's MVP franchise since it first started in 2003, on both consoles and PC's, where I mod uniforms for it's 2005 game. I am assuming since it is a 3 year thing with sports games, like MVP, if you compare MVP 2005 to MVP 2003 it is a quantum leap. 2K9 or 2K8 should be a quantum leap. Consider this game what should have been 2K6 for us 360 owners.
