2K2 was a complete joke. The only reason it recieved any credit was because Sega's own studio screwed up 2K1 so bad. However, while 2K2 was a huge improvement (and even 2K6 kills 2K1), it lacked in many ways. The fielding was poor, the ball physics were bad, and I don't even think they had fielder catching animations in 2K2. To it's credit, it was the foundation for 2K3, which IS 2K's best baseball game.
