What do you guys think? What tracks did you like... or not like so much? I'd love to hear you thoughts as I begin to brainstorm for next year...

I think you guys should go back to College Fight Songs. I really liked those.

Huge fan of the syke song, its probally the best menu song in the game. (other than the fight songs that is)

I can honestly say that I disliked the music in the game, however, I would find it much more interesting if we could insert our own music into the game that would be played at certain points of the game such as a timeout after a big-run or halftime highlights or something.

I like the selection of songs that were put into the game. For the next version like the user stated it would be a good idea to not only have songs that are inputed into the game but an option to insert your own music into the game not only for the menu screen but for arena purposes.

I like the music in the game, but I think there is better. It seems 2k loves to throw in indie rock / punkish kinda tracks. That is my fav. genre of music, so I have suggestions.
Ben Gibbard is pretty good. So Death Cab for Cutie and The Postal Service are always enjoyable. Don't listen to the haters.
The Dismemberment Plan once toured with Death Cab, but their style is a bit different. Vocals are comparable to Gibbard's at times. Check out their CD called "Emergency & I" for their most main-stream friendly, and coincidently, BEST material.
The Bouncing Souls are a very catch punk band that has been featured in Tony Hawk games as well as a super bowl pepsi comercial. Anything by them is golden, Kate is Great and True Believers are usually the favorites though.
Against Me! is an up and comming band in the national spotlight, they recently signed to Sire records, which has caused a lot of contraversy. They get a lot of good reviews and i'd expect them to explode in popularity with their upcomming release. As The Eternal Cowboy and Searching for a Former Clarity are their two more mainstream-friendly CDs, Reinventing Axl Rose is a little obscure.
If any of these bands make an appearence in 2k8 or any other game I'd be totally stoked.
