Just awhile ago It was stuck in my mind that College Hoops was going to be so much better and March madness stilll would suck. But i dont know anymore, Madness looks preety sweet. I mean Last years CBB 2k3 was cool but It just seemed to slow at times. And the videos this year look the same. While March madness was to fast but The videos this year seem slower and just about right. I knwo all of you think the Hoops graphics are better then Madness and live. but me and my friends have always thought Live and madness had the better graphics. I will just ahve to wait and see what keeps coming up in the Fast-Break Fridays and check out more of the new Madness videos. Its not even march yet and im already going Mad!! haha. So what are your thoguhts, comments on the 2 games.
Also im planning on finally buying my XBOX this week or next weekend. Does anyone know a place I can get a new XBOX for under 179.99?? im thinking of getting mine at Gamestop. A new Xbox, Controller S, and 3 dumb games (which I plan on trading in probably) for 179.99! Unless anyone knows a better deal Im gonna get it from there. Thanks.

Espn Hoops...stick with the masters.
I've seen videos and read interviews about MM2004 and nothing has told me that it isn't just last year's game with a few very small upgrades.
Besides..based on the videos I've seen..there's no question which one I'll be purchasing.
EA sports should stick with college football, they seem to do that well.
Espn and college hoops go hand in hand.

I had both games last year. I hated MM so I got rid of it like three days after I bought it. My order is in for 2K4 but I will check out MM; if I like it I will buy it. I just love the college game and if both games are solid I have no problem getting both.

Im just gonna forget about the games until they come out. My problem is I have no system right now and Football is over with so I dont have much to do after Homework and hangin wit friends. So I get on here and Go back and forth on which game I should get haha. So I plan on just renting One game for a week then Rent another game for a week. And then just buy which ever one I think is better.

I thought 2k3 was a complete joke last year. I will probably rent it before I buy it. I would rather it be better than live because of the online funtions with the xbox, but if it is junk like last year I wont. I don't want to buy MM because of no online, but if its the best game then I will have to get it to play as KY,.

I heard MM was just like NBA Live.
NCAA 2K3 actually played like real basketball. You couldn't just drive the lane and dunk everytime like you can on most games. I hate games like that. That's not fun at all. It's just fake. Keep keeping it real Kush.

You can drive the lane on NCAA 2K3.
You just have to use the dribble move or a pump fake.
It doesn't always work. That's a good thing because if it did the game would get old very fast.
EA Sports games are too easy. Some people like that but I'm not one of them.

yeah i know but it just didnt feel like the game flowed...nba 2k3 did flow and i've watched the videos and it looks like its gonna be better with the more fluent motoins and stuff (and the crowd and atmosphere they went all out on that one)

I could drive to the hoop. That's one thing I liked about 2k3; you couldn't just walk to the hoop every time down. What you had to do was get good postion and make a move. After a while you just learn how to beat the defense and wait on the D to make a bad move.

did you people ever play online with 2k3? a majority of the people had 99% of thier points of layups. Most people ran circles until the defense became confused, then had lane for lay-up. With that and the jump steal, the ESPN game has a lot to improve on

Yah, but ESPN NBA Basketball is the best basketball game I have ever played. I hope ESPN College Hoops is very similar to ESPN NBA. If it is then it will be one hell of a game, OO YAH. Madness sucks go with ESPN!

espn looks too stiff for me, it doesnt appear as fluid as MM does..I really hope those videos are from an early beta if not MM is going to dominate this yr. the AI on espn is a joke

Last years MM had no AI. I could drive to the hoop all day long. It was like Live 2002 with college uniforms. ESPN on the other had had it's bugs but the game played better than MM 2003. College b'ball is not a track meet and EA needs to be told that. EA's idea of better defensive AI is tons of blocks. I'll give MM 2004 a try but I bet they...

The fact that EASports took over development of MM and has said they want to make it the basketball version of NCAA football has me very excited. Right now it looks like I will get MM first and wait and see if the AI has been improved in Espn. I will get both eventually and I really hope this is the year we finally get a great college bball game.

I think I will eventually get both. ESPN is up first and later down the road when I want something different, I'll grab MM 2004. Hell, ESPN Hoops might hold me down the whole year with all it has to offer.
