I hope that 2k will allow you to play against differnt Virtual Identity Profiles in the Franchise Mode.I think this will add alot of personality to the game.

I am also hoping that 1st person Football will be in this game as well. Some of the best online games I had were in 1st Person mode.

It wasn't lame, it was revolutionary, which means it was probably too advanced for you.

I agree 1st person mode was great.

Actually, Madden '99 had First Person Football.

I think it has potential, but 2K couldn't quite get it right.

It was their 1st try, so I'd say it was very good. Definitely was more challenging.

I remeber that N64 game with it and 2K4 and 2K5 was a lot better. I just thought the camera view needed to be a little closer.

How about a 3rd person view like you see in alot of FPS games?

I believe it was called the "Helmet Cam" in Madden 64 and it was garbage; totally unplayable.

First Person football was/is WAAAAAY more advanced. However, I really liked Madden 64; it was a very good game (I gotta give props were props are due). It was a lotta fun.

There was a game for the Atari ST that had a FPF-style view, so these ideas have been done in every generation, but I would say that 2K did it the best by far.

I had a great time with the VIP system in NFL2k5.I made dozens of team specific profiles, where I would only use 1 team for that profile, like my 'Ditka' profile when I would play as the 85 Bears. Then I would play against those profiles. It was a blast!

I would of course also play against my friends profiles, and even create new ones based off my friends profiles, kinda a hybrid proflie.

I really feel that with a game like this, having the ability to play against profiles in franchise could add a lot of personality and depth, as it will give players the chance to create different playstyles for teams, as well as use their friends profiles to play against in franchise, or even download different opponents off of the internet.
