Ideas for making presentation even better

2k is known for capturing the feel and excitement of a sport with there excellent presentation and atmosphere. Just look at NBA 2k7 and the MLB 2k7 game that’s about to come out next month. I’m not even a baseball fan but I will be getting it next month because 2k makes you feel like you are apart of the game. Seeing the players and environments respond and interact with the moves you make in the game. NFL 2k5 blew me away! You saw players showing emotion when the chain gang signaled first down or 4th and short, players talking on the sidelines to each other when a play is challenged. I could go on and on. I already know they will bring all these features back and then some. Here are some ideas for making there presentation even better.

-Sideline and fan emotions:
Say you make a big play and start to break free show the sidelines and fans in the stands going crazy if you are the home team. If the home team is being blown out show fans heading towards the exits.

-Action on the field:
Show players running in and out of the huddle when you change personnel. Say you go from I-formation to 4 wide. Show those receivers running out on the field and the others leaving. Chain gang moving and referee’s running with the play.

-Playoff and Championship game atmosphere:
Make the Playoffs and Championship game atmosphere a whole lot different from the regular season. Banners around the field and playoff logos on the field. Players showing more emotion when they lose the championship or a playoff game

-Dan and Peter are a must. They were excellent in the booth and should be brought back. Let them break down plays and show in game stats.

-Pregame, Halftime, and post game highlights:
I already know these are coming back but for the pre-game segment show Peter and Dan before the game. I think that would be cool. Have them talking about the game and how the weather could play a factor in the outcome of it if the weather is bad.

These are just a few ideas. I know they probably have all kinds of features already lined up I can’t wait!!

I agree, Dan and Peter are a must if the presentation side is anywhere near completed. I would also like to see sideline reports from direct and indirect interviews, and from common knowledge.

Also, I would like to see the 2kSports Network standardize its graphics for all games. Plus, I would hire voice actors to be part of broadcasting teams and in studio pregame/halftime/postgame shows (like Dan and Peter are).

Different atmosphere and commentary for playoffs/championship game than a preseason/regular season game. EA NEVER could capture the "feel" of a real football game.

I agree Dan and Peter are a must. Think for the half time report they shouldn't try to imitate boomer but get some one who can either call it normally or is funny in their own way.

Regarding those halftime shows and post game shows, I'd like to see actual video [like it was offline], ONLINE, instead of screenshots.

should add something like you got jacked up!!!!! for a halftime or aftergame.....intermission....showing the big hits of the day! also the highlights of the game with humor or with criticism.... just dont want a robot doing it

2K sports has always done well on presentation and pretty much all of their sports games. I read in an Interview with Greg Thomas speaking about how the presentation in NFL 2K5 is light years ahead of the current NFL games now which is of course Madden.

It's also why many boxing fans cant wait for 2k sports to come out with a boxing game. As for now everyone is stuck with that pure trash EA likes to call a sim sports game, I'm talking about that arcady game called Fight Night.

It's been rumor that 2k is making a boxing game so I hope they say something soon. The All Star Football game had been rumor for a long time and they finaly made it official. Just hoping they will do the same for the boxing game, please 2k sports lets us boxing fans hear some good news!.

PS: Cant wait for 2k football on the next gen system. First person mode is going to be sick!

A friend and I were talking about presentation for All-Pro Football 2K8 the other day when I told him about the good news!

He said that he would like to see a taunt where: In overtime, if the player who receives the ball at kickoff takes it to the house; he keeps running straight into the lockeroom without stopping to dance or shake hands.

I would like to see: At the end of a game, If one team is blowing away another team and are kneeing down the ball.....The linemen should start shaking hands and saying good game in between each knee......

At the end of a game, I would like to see teams go into the middle of the field to shake hands and hug.........

I would love to have the ability to record games to hard drive.I know that won't be here this year, but I am wondering why that is not possible since you can record quite a few real time strategy games to hard drive on PC and it takes very little space.

Hopefully they have the 2k Reelmaker for this at least.

I think they should do something like they do in their college basketball game. Before the season you should be able to watch a "predictions" show. WHo they think will be in the superbowl...mvp...etc. I also liked in the old 2k5 at the end of each week you could watch a show and see actual highlights from the other games played...that was badass.

Also, i think a cool feature would be to have a fantasy football draft before the season starts, just as a little feature

Story:
I got a buddy who says he's not interested because its not gonna b an NFL game. I told him to wait and see how this blows out Madden and see won't he change his d*mn mind! NBA and College Hoops 2K are so much off the hook, I can only imagine 2K football on next gen being INSANE. H*ll, NFL 2K5 on PS2 can compete with Madden on next gen.

I can't wait either fellas!!!!

Better cut scenes
Pre/post game
Halftime highlights
Realistic environment
Sideline cut scenes
More catch and run animations

Oh wait, that was 2K three years ago.....Imagine NOW

I would like to see some plays greyed out depending on the situation. At least for on-line play. For example, If its 4th and 15 on your own side of the field and its not a critical drive, then punting should be the only option. Or at least the odds of success should be severly diminished.

I would love to see the jacked up segment. but first they would have to have a ton of tackling animations so that you see a new tackle every down instead of the same 10 or 15 that madden has. plus if they added that natural motion physics that everyone is talking about and it would be perfect!
