I just saw this on ESPN...(I know Off-Topic, but funny)

"According to The New York Times, there is a new addition to the thriving Yankees-Red Sox rivalry -- a red and blue hat (Red Sox colors) with the logo "YH," as in Yankees hater. RHP Curt Schilling was wearing the hat while watching the Bruins play the Canadiens in Game 7 of their NHL playoff series on April 20."

I love to hate the yankees as all non yankee fans do. But on a more reasonable level, you have to respect what they have accomplished in their history. Everybody wants to play for the yankees. They are baseball. The legends, the mystique, no one else has that. Even if they can buy the best players in the world, baseball wouldn't be the same if we couldn't hate the yankees. Everyone who is not a yankees fan loves to see them lose to the D-backs, to the Angels, to the Marlins, it doesn't matter.
