this happens to me also just restart your system when it happens the first time and it shouldn't happen again.

I think McB's advice should help. I will flag this to the Tourney admin as well...see if there us any insight he can shed on the issue...

I conferred with the dev team and the tournament admin, LA. If you have this problem repeatedly with the same opponent, please notify the admin via the online contact form on the PVFF website: http://virtualfinal4.2ksports.com/faq.html
Otherwise, if you are seeing this problem randomly against a wide variety of opponents your best bet is to reboot your system and try again. The dev team is aware that a very small group of users have seen this happen randomly, but as of yet we have been unable to duplicate it in our test facilities. Sorry, I know that may not be the answer that you are looking for, and I apologize that you may be in that "small group of users", but that is the only help I can offer you at this time.

When playing a game on the 360 in online mode, if the person that I am playing against disconnects the game at halftime, the game un-registers and is not counted. That is frustrating to start with. Secondly, every game that I play after that will disconnect at halftime. I have tried restarting the console after the games have been stopped at halftime, but the problem would still persist. The resolution that worked for me was to reboot my router and 360 both, then the problem went away.
The next network issue is when the connection to 2k sports times out. I get back to the console where there is a message stating that my connection to 2k sports has been disconnected. I reconnect and begin to play games, but my record does not change. After I played 3 games last night with none counting towards my record I just turned everything off, 360 and router.
