I have never pre-ordered a game before. If I pre-order now, will I get the game by the release date? Or will it come before?

Don't pre-order. Rent first.

After last year's terrible offering, you'll be better served by renting the game to see if there are problems or if you'll even like it. Believe me -- there were plenty of problems last year to make you wish you hadn't dropped $60 on it.

And most stores will not accept your open game as a return if there is a problem. You may be able to get a used "buy-back" price at places like Funcoland, but it's at a loss to you.

I pre ordered last years game. Got it on the day of the release, never had any technical problems with it. I love the game, still play it. This years game I pre ordered the day I heard the release date and I won't regret it.

I know i am getting it
