what if they make a high school football game. one where you can create your local leauges and high school. team colors, mascots, pride stickers, etc
get a liscense for each states contention like cif etc have your local leauge and state play offs. give a real hs atmosphere. be able to move kids up from freshman and jv, etc and be able to get your kids scholarships and what not. i remember there was a game on snes that had hs, college and nfl all in one game. but i think would be coo though, wanna let me help work on it 2k?

Why would they work on a high school football game if they are already making AP Football 2K8...also it might take a while to get all the licenses for the high schools. One football game from 2K is good enough.

Yes. I was making the point that a high school game would be a good idea. I don't think anyone will make one anytime soon though.

I just don't get this facination over a high school football game. Don't people realize that if they made an acurate high school game, that it just wouldn't be any fun to play?

I guess it's just the atmosphere and the fact you get blow-out scores every now and then.

it would be fun to me. it would be more about ur coaching too because you cant control the talent that comes to your school. you either get great players or you dont. i would enjoy playing it

High school football:
RB sweep left.
FB dive over guard.
Oh, look: a pass play!
Incomplete. Time for a 22 yard FG attempt.
Yep, wide right, let's see what the other team's offense can't do.
No high school football, please. Fun to play, not so fun to watch.
However, I do like the idea about having pride stickers and having them visible online during your season tourney. You could earn them with outstanding games for each player. It might be addictive, kinda like the gamerscore thing.

Ok, you do have a point, but maybe someone should do a high school game as an add-on or something.

The high school football program I was involved in was anything but weak, my friend. Props to Poly High, no doubt, but I write to you from the middle of Texas.
They don't write movies about Texas high school football for nothing, ya know.
Those movies aren't usually very good, but you can blame Hollywood for that.
My point was that we aren't going to be very satisfied with a game that uses such a simplistic play style. Most high school playbooks aren't very deep and they don't have very sophisticated defensive schemes. Hot routs and audibles? Virtually non-existant.
Don't get me wrong, high school ball can be exciting, but this is a video game, an extension of reality. I played high school ball. I have a better football mind than I did a football body, so I didn't get an opportunity to play college or pro ball, so that's what I want to do when I turn on the ol' XBox.
