To me, I don't know if yall ever got the chance to see the different type of press releases by the WRs in the game. I like how they incorporated the "Route Running Ability" into the game. I watched Randy Moss beat the press so pretty, and Ronald Curry struggled and little. That was amazing. Watching Randy attack the technique of the CB then stem his route to bearly slowing down to run a 6 cut. Thats Poetry.
Whats so of yall's best attributes of the game?

I love the ability to tell a single DB at a time how to play a certain technique. As soon as we broke the huddle, I could tell him to bump with inside technique. and then tell the opposite CB to play off inside. (have yall ever played madden and you told the DB to play inside or outside and they never move and they still give up the technique you tell them to play?) for instance, play madden and tell the CB to play inside, and you'll literally be watching them give up the slant all day long. Thats awful.. Thank the Lord for 2k. Because, not only will they play inside, but they'll try to wall them out as well. GReat job 2k. Let's see more!

I think that was the best attribute as well. It was great because in short distance situations, if I pressed my CB inside, he actually bumped the WR off the inside route. Like you said in Madden, you can know the play being run, bump your cb's accordingly and the wr will still make the play like you didn't even assign any type of coverage. 2k's whole def assignments were just so much better than Madden. My other fav attribute was the real right analog stick. 2k was and still is ahead of its time.

Running animations, pushing blockers, sliding between holes ect, cutting on a dime (UNLIKE madden's stearing controls) All around better Football game

I loved the VIP. Being able to scout a future opponent was huge!

I like everything that was mentioned before plus you had to actually read the defense. I loved having to read the safeties on pass plays. Usually if you didn't read the defense right you paid for it on passing plays. I loved where VC had some OL stand on passing plays. Some people didn't like it because it gave away your play but it happens in the NFL all the time. I also loved the fact that you had to use the strength of your running back finesse or power. I love the fact that you can call your line stunts separate from your coverage like they do in the NFL. I love that if you call the wrong defensive play you could get burnt. Most of the time a defense gives up big plays is due to the fact the wrong play was called and it had their defenders out of position. I love how you can break tackles in 2K5 using the speed burst and how you made tackles using the speed burst. I love the gang tackling in 2K5. I'll stop

I like how 2K5 closely depicted the NFL. When I played it felt I was watching a real football game. From the animations, presentation, and gameplay a football game couldn't get closer to real life than that. The VIP system was also a great feature...maybe brilliant. Hopefully AP Football will exceed what we enjoyed in NFL 2K5 and fix all the bugs that were in 2K5. One last thing that amazed me was how many animations in the game...I'm still playing the game 3 years later and I see and catch or hit I never seen before.

Animations animations... the list goes on.I wanna see how well they will mimick nfl players this time around.I mean to a T. If they can come up with a DT that plays like my boy Casey MF Hampton... This game will be the shiz

I liked VIP for scouting, but I LOVED it for playing against even more.I would play against my friends profiles, and over 30 team specific profiles I created, like 'Ditka' for the 85 Bears Classic team.
I feel VIP could be a major factor in a customization game like this, but I am a little bothered that VIP took a step back in NBA2k7.You can still play against VIP profiles, but only in Exhibition.
In NBA2k6 you could play against VIP profiles in Association as well.
I sure hope they allow you to play aginst profiles in Franchise mode for AP2k8.
