im prolly not getting it... ive been excited with this hype n all but i have so many games on ps2 that ive yet to conquer im not ready for a next gen system.... too many damn games i already have

I never preorder games and I wont for this one. I definitely will be buying it though. Well let me rephrase that as long as its a good game I will be buying it.

My bad I guess I one of the few who actually pre-orders most of their consoles and games. I didn't pre-order the Nintendo Wii and I've been kicking myself in the pants for it ever since.

I don't know... not to sound unpleasant, but I'm not sure I see a compelling reason to preorder this game. I believe it will sell, but I can't see a possibility where there wouldn't be plenty of copies available on release date. It's not like this game is being waited for by the whole gaming world. I expect release day sales to be respectable, but certainly not astronomical.

Well, Nintendo's systems always have big first days so I can see preordering those.

I did preorder 2K5, but that was because the buzz was so huge, and there was so much controversy surrounding the game, I just knew the copies would fly off the shelves... and they did. I got one of the last two copies.

If that sort of buzz starts up for APF 2K8, I might have to preorder again, but it's too early to tell right now.

I don't usually pre-order either, unless it's a really high demand game. I did this time because the game companies track pre-orders to get a feel of how well a game's going to sell. It's my little way of saying thanks to 2K.
