Hello everybody. I just joined the forums here and thought I would go along with everyone else here and document myself a legacy. I am coaching each game and am playing via the PS2 version of the game.

October 22nd, 2006 - Madness Indeed: Alcorn State finally signs coach just minutes prior to Midnight Madness.
Alcorn State has finally found itself a new head coach for the 2006-07 NCAA season. Chris Johnson (former coach of Harry S. Truman High School of Levittown, Pennsylvania) has been signed to begin the rebuilding of a team that has a dismal season to say the least last year. Alcorn State has a great potential among themselves, however team chemistry has been a problem for the past few seasons. With four out of five starters being Seniors, Coach Johnson will have a hefty recruiting season to also worry about. "I see no reason why this team cannot win atleast 10-12 games, they are a very talented group that know how to win," Johnson said to the media. With the schedules out, let's take a look at some key games for Alcorn State:

November 5th, 2006 vs #3 Florida Gators
November 9th, 2006 vs Texas (2K Sports College Hoops Classic)
ALL League Games

"It doesn't matter if our opponents are 0-12, or if they're 12-0... we will prepare the same way for each game," said Johnson when asked about facing number three ranked Florida in their season opener. Coach Johnson undoubtedly feels that this team can win against any team. Will this attitude help or hinder Alcorn State this season? We will know with time.
