UK Gamers how to play the demo!!!!

I hope this might help to give UK'ers a little fix. Setup a second xbox live account and enter details for a US address. You must register a .com email like xxxxx@hotmail.com for it to work. U will then be able to sign into this silver account and download!

Ive followed Baseball for 15 years and I cannot begin to tell you how ****ed off I am that this game is not coming out in the UK.

just tried this and I have managed to get as far as being told that I need a gold account.
Unfortunately it does not give you the option to have a free try of live gold and a person on another thread told me that the 48 hr trial is only for playing online and not for downloads. Can anyone confirm this?

This does work!!! I am downloading the demo NOW!!

When you get to the point where it says 'select silver or gold membership' you select silver and on the next screen it asks you 'whether you are sure you want a silver membership' and you select yes and then on the next screen it says 'you are eligible for a 1 month gold account trial' and you accept this then bingo!

Go back to marketplace and the demo is there to be downloaded!

it is true that 48 hr pass is only for playing and not downloading... that's what i tried to do for crackdown :( but yeah the silver>gold membership thing works but not every time. you should be good if you do it once though

This night (italian time) my xbox 360 finished to download the game, this morning before coming to work I tried it (only one time) and it looks very good to me. So I'm sad because for the region code rule I cannot play the full game... Thanks to paulc12345 for this idea...

Well it took all night but I finally got the demo downloaded and I am impressed. Visuals look stunning on my hdtv and gameplay seems much improved. Thanks to paulc for the info.
