I found it incredibly difficult, even when my runner had 99 speed. It seemed easier in 2k6 since your lead off could be more than 2 steps.

I stoled a lot of bases in 2K6 so easily even if the catcher threw the ball on time to try to tag me out. But now it seems its almost impossible to do so now.
