Am i the only person that doesnt like the swing stick anymore but liked it last year. Whatever they decided to do with the bunt thing really screwed the hitting up. Other than that its great

I like the Swing Stick. Funny thing, I hit 3 homeruns in my first demo game lol. isn't that a little weird. i would have hit 4, but Edmonds robbed me of one. One of the best fielders in the game!

I played the Demo and my impression was pretty good, i hated 2k6 so much i only played 1 game and returned it but 2k7 seems much better. i still dont like the swing stick (the 2k5 batting was better for me) but its overall improved from lasts years batting. ppl who have the ps2 or xbox are falling back since there going to have major lag and the graphics are going to be the same as 2k5 and 2k7. but the 360 version is WOW if you have an HDTV

I think its worthy

I love the demo and I cant wait till tomorrow.... it took m 5 hours to get the demo but it was worth it.... Do you guys realize that the game is defaulted to rookie mode therefore you guys hitting tons of homers are being fooled... you can put it at all star and it gets real hard to hit....

The sliders will also help those having issues with the swing stick sensativity...there are sliders for that as well... everything has sliders which is great...

The one slider that has to be fixed is the rob a homer wall climb...i was robbed 4 times ....the graphics are sweet on hd and the field is real smooth.... i lost 2-1 to the cards in 16 innings and then put it on all star and lost 8-1

the one negative is the fact that i got 3 players tossed for hitting batters and the cards hit a batter of mine and never were tossed....

I've noticed if you hit them with off-speed stuff, they dont get ejected but a fastball and their gone.

I think the swing stick feels way better. It doesnt seem as slow to react and its much more crisp.

First impression is, wow this game is gorgeous. Other than that from the gameplay department it seems solid, but what I truly want to test I cannot do until tomorrow, and that would be the CPU's intellegence in running a franchise in Franchise mode. Hopefully no more Gary Sheffield's leading off, or people getting steals they didn't steal, or the multitude of stat and line-up related bugs.

Though from the demo I feel good about them being fixed, but I shall see tomorrow, looks like a job well done though thus far.

OK, here is the deal, I just got my 360 like a month and ahalf ago and I am only used playing with a PS2 controller cause thats what I always used and the controlls for the Xbox are have to take alittle getting used too. Now with that said, here is feelings on the game.

1. The manual is alot larger then any Xbox 360 game I got and I didnt go through it too much just the basics. Now the one thing I dont get is pitching, the default pitching. With the thing that circles around the ball. So I changed it to option 2 where you select a target and a meter comes from left/right/ and up/down. I find that more of my type of game play. The longer you hold the button the smaller the target gets and the faster/ more break gets put on the ball.

2. The fielding is'nt that bad but I have to get used to the sprint button at times. The one thing I really have a grip at with fielding is the views, I wish they would have gotten a view more with a airial style but I can live with it.

3. I have never played 2K6 or any 2K baseball game for that matter and the swing stick is just way too difficult. Dont get me wrong I know its a authentic stlye of play but its gonna take alot of getting used too. Im not saying it's bad but for a first timer like myself I think Im gonna have to practice alot.

4. This game looks great, I mean the graphics are second to none and I love how if a pitcher gets on base he gets the warmup jacket. I like how they got ballboys/girls in foul ground. I like the pickoff/ hold runner on view.

All in all I like this game alot for being a first timer, its gonna take alot of getting used too.

Ok, so I love baseball and love the games, and am always excited when a new one comes out....but every year the Twins suck on every game, no matter if they were good or not the year before. I was happy that the Twins were finally gonna be good this year, I figured it was a lock that they'd have to be among the top 10 teams. So I go and get the game today, just started playing and what are the twins ranked? 20TH!?!?!?1 Are you ****ing kidding me 2K? How does a team that had the AL MVP (mostly because of his hitting stats) and the AL Batting Champion, get a 1.5 star rating? Just because they don't hit a ton of home runs is not a reason to make them a bad hitting team. They finished the season 3rd in team avg if I remember correctly....I just do not see how it is possible to give them such a bad rating....And we got kinda robbed with out pitching ratiing as well, because we had the best bullpen in the league last year and tho we lost Liriano for this year, we still have a solid rotation so imo we should have at least a 4 star rating. Now I just have to do what I do every other year and trade away players and build up a good team on my own cuz 2k is retarded and doesn't know how to rank teams properly. 2k, you disgust me....that said, I havent really played the game much yet, so I can't say if it's good or not, but so far, I have seen no differences between this year and last years game....if that's the case, then **** you 2K, **** you right in the asses!

100% agree my fellow fan. We lost 3 players from last year: Liriano, Radke, and Willie Erye(who sucked by the way and im glad hes gone), and oh ya stewart but he doesnt count cause he played like 10 games. We have all our starters back and have good young pitchers. AL batting champ, cy young, MVP, 3rd in the league in avg last year, best bullpen in baseball, the most underated closer in the game, division winners 4 of the last 5 years(prooves consistantsy), speed on the field with the pirhanas, and that gets you a 20 rating??? Ok 2k whatever, thats why they make the edit option.:D

Twins rotation is terrible this year without Liriano. They have Santana and thats it. Is Garza gonna be a starter? He's a big prospect but who knows how he'll do his first big league season. I'll be generous and say he'll do well, but besides that, I don't like the other 3 spots. Carlos Silva is a hit machine, Ramon Ortiz gets completely rattled so easily and just implodes on the mound, and I'm not even sure who their 5th starter is now. Their bullpen is solid but their rotation is filled with a question mark in Garza, and 2 crap starters in Silva/Ortiz. Might be 3 bad pitchers depending on who the 5th starter is

their offense is good and they should be ranked higher than 20th though, I agree, but lets not go overboard here, they have SP issues.

I have played two games on the 360 so far with the Indians. Lost the first, won the second. Didn't play 2K6 at all, 2K5 on XBox was the last one I owned and played.

To me, the game is great. I love the pitching. It took me about 7 innings to really get used to it, and I'm still learning it, but I am really liking it. Fun stuff.

The swing stick is still giving me some fits, but I'm coming around to it. I like what it adds to the game and it's better and more rewarding than pushing a button. Like I said, I'm still getting used to it, but I can tell that I will use it in all the games I play.

The fielding is pretty good, as is the baserunning. I've made some mistakes so far, but they aren't the game's fault, they were my own. The one complaint that I have is that the ball is hard to see sometimes. I've ran right by it a couple times because I couldn't see it on the ground.

The game is beautiful, everything looks so darn fine. Things aren't 100% perfect, but they still look really nice. I like the animations, though, you can see a slight glitch in the leaning for first base while running animation. It sort of skips every now and then, but it doesn't take away anything. Lighting is great with excellent shadows. Stadiums aren't perfect, but they still look pretty nice. Sounds are good. Announcing is repetitive, but I expect that. And I doubt I will see it get any better on the 360, they really need more storage space to put in more dialog, and a dual layer dvd just can't hold all of it.

Overall, I'm happy with the game so far. I loved 2k5, and get the feeling I will enjoy this game even more.

Go Tribe!!!

Why are the salaries so small? Alfonso Soriano makes $1.7 Million/year? Why not make the budgets bigger, and the salaries closer to what they are in real life?

I bought the game today and when I played my first game I was amazed at the graphics!
And that was just on my standard definition TV. I love the way the jerseys flap in the wind. It adds so much to the realism. I only have two complaints, one of which is minor. 1) I always seem to over run the ball when im trying to track down fall balls and grounders which leads to me giving up easy base hits that should've been outs. and 2) I'm a Cubs fan and (this is very minor) they only have their home alternate jersey's with pinstripe pants. I hope they can put out an update to add the away alternate's with the gray pants. Other than that, this game is amazing and i've been playing every chance i get!

Just like to say I have only played 2 games, but I'm not in the forums often, just checking out the sliders then I'm out. Felt obligated to post an impression for this game. I love it thus far! I've played two games only, so I haven't seen all the negatives/positives of the game, but so far, the positives greatly outweigh the negatives. The graphics first off are awesome, plain and simple, good job on that part of the game.

The gameplay, fielding, hitting, base running, and pitching are really good. Needs a little more polish on the fielding since some balls that get by the infield either should have been caught or called an error, yet they're ruled as hits (not big deal, just some polish). The arms are much better this year, the singles to the outfield, the extra base hits, all seem more realistic. The outfield just seems more realistic like it was just moved back a little, seemed a little condensed last year. Too many hit batsmen might be my only gripe about pitching, but might be fine since I've only played 2 games? Hitting needs a little work, just seems like the hit stick is unresponsive at some times, leading in outs, bad swings, and bunts. Base running seems fine, although I might be one of the few that thought it was fine last year (it was the fielder's arms that were problems), just takes a little time to get a handle on.

Can't really think of much more at this time, but overall is a great improvement from last year, and I'm not just saying that because I can play it this year (less glitches than last year). One thing I would like to see is a better franchise mode. I'd like it to involve more aspects of making money, not just ticket prices. I'd also like to see more options in the minors involving their development. One last thing that I would love to see and just though of... I would love to make my own ball park, with a great many options, that my team can play at. Maybe you did implement that...Like i said haven't explored the whole game as of yet. That's all, I'm sure I'd have much more to say if you give me a couple weeks, but this my initial impression.

Good job this year, just keep on improving for next year.

I have only played 2 games as well into my GM career and so far I have no complaints. I started with the ALLSTAR settings and adjusted some of the AI sliders (contact, power, pitcher fatigue) I also adjusted pitcher fatigue for my players, adjusted the batting zoom view from 20-60. That brings me closer to the pitcher-batter matchup and can makes it a little easier to judge a ball/strike. Everything seems right on so far. I guess as the season progresses that rosters for CPU teams start getting screwy but I havent seen this yet.

ummm....

Luis Castillo

Jason Bartlett

Torri Hunter
Mike Cuddyer
Rondell White

and the rest of garbage that got at bats with the Twins all say hi!

Seriously..do you realize the team has more than two hitters?

Lew Ford and Rondell White are two of the worst MLB regulars in the game.

I played 3 games in my franchise, using the braves. I played the phillies series (opening day series) and have to say im impressed with how good the game looks.

The controls for fielding feel a lil improved in the outfield, but theres still a few times where i had a hard time judging whether i should dive or if the player would get there in time, but i think that's my own fault, and not the system's.

Infield controls are good, i still thinkg the throwin animations can be a little cleaned up, but all in all its pretty straight.

Pitching is the same, i prefer the view from behind the batter, so theres not much to say about my view on pitching, it's about the same as 2k6.

Batting is good, the swing stick is really fun, and feels pretty good to use once you get the hang of it.

All in all i would recommend it to anyone who wants to play baseball on the 360. It's much improved from last years game, in which i could only play a game and be bored with it.

on a fun note, the second game i played started at dusk, and apparently in the phillies stadium theres TONS of shadows that make the game real dark, i was like "man when are they gonna turn the lights on?" but by inning 3, the lights were on and it was all lit up.

so my two cents are 8.5 outta 10. wouldve been higher but i still gotta get used to the physics engine in the outfield.

I bought a 360 specifically for this game...and all i have to say is WOW.

Graphics - 9.5 awsome...some faces (Abreu) look kinda weird but most are on point. Stadiums, crowd everything else is PERFECT

Animations - 9.5 They all look real tight. They are all very realistic. I havent see one that looks less than awsome

Gameplay -
Pitching 8.5 - Its the same as last years but better. Personally i dont think pitchers get tired to quick. You just have to not rear back and use max effort. When pitcher get tired they dont start throwing 10mph slower like in last years game. I dont really like the view when you are holding on runners...I always favored the head turn as in previous versions...but I will live. The signature styles are all real good. And there are alot of them.

Hitting 8.0 - I alway HATED the swing stick. However, for some reason in this game its not that bad. They improved it. The swings look good. If anything its too realistic. the batters stepping out makes the game longer..but that can be skipped. Havent used classic yet. Homers might be too easy...but that can be adjusted

Feilding - Hmmm...personally I couldnt ask for more. Good animations

Misc- I did notice that in franchise mode...some peoples stats were WAAAY off (Abreu 53 sb, Reyes 32 homers...but that was just one season.) Overall it seemed as if the number were pretty realistic. The menus in franchise were a bit annoying...but it was decent. Besides the menus i could really see any difference in franchise...ooops except that you could set ticket prices. I personally felt that there was little need to adjust the sliders. In pervious versions I felt like i had to spend weeks tweaking the game...this felt pretty good right out of the box on pro and all-star.

I give MLB2K6 a 6.0 I give MLB 2K7 a 8.5. They didnt go ABOVE and beyond...but they just made the BEST baseball game ever. The game that we really wanted last year. I truly believe that MLB2K8 will be just beyond unbelieveable.

Two games into my season and here are my impressions:

(1)Had problems with the swing stick.Keeps bunting when I try to swing hard.I need to work on this.

(2)I like the wind effect on the player's uniforms.

(3)I LOVE the effect of pressure on a pitcher with a low composure rating.

During the Home Run Derby, that pitcher needs to take it easy though.

So far, I like it.:)

I really really like this game. I really hated last years game. So that says alot about this game. I have not stop playing it lol. I started my frachise yesterday and im doing my thing online. All my boys have bought this game and they really like it as well. My only complain is the fielding view. I think they should have added more camera options and sometimes in the cutscenes you can see the game skip once or twice because of framerate. But overall it's a big improvement from last years POS. This game is an 8.4 to me..

Good to see there is someone else that thinks the same thing about this new feature...

So far, I have no problems with this game... so unlike last year's MLB game. The revamped Cubs lineup is deadly, and the friendly confines at Wrigley have never looked better!!!

But above all else, the gameplay is 100% better than last year's turd of a baseball game!

Nice improvement on the game, 2K Sports!

Great ****ing game!!! I've been playing baseball games for about 10 years and this is by far the best all round game. The graphics are increadible and I don't even have an HD T.V.
I did hate the swing stick system, maybe because I've never used that system before, but I just picked the classic hitting option and all was good. I bought this game today and played it for 4 hours straight. My wrist is killing me but I can't turn this game off. Way to go 2k sports.........I give it a solid 9.5

My first impressions of MLB2K7? :D

Plain and simple, it's tons better than last year's atrocity, in almost every kind of conceivable category you could judge a game on... things are definitely looking up for this franchise.

I have noticed a few "bugs" here and there... but nothing near the amount that I found with last year's release.

Really like the game, but i also really liked 2k6. Graphics are incredible... at first, hitting seemed xtremely hard, but it catches on after a few games. I kinda miss the strike zone indicator when pitching, but it looks so much better w/out it, I pretty much used to it. to me this is the most realistic baseball experience available. 1 question though, ne1 kno how to get custom music when u step n2 the batters box, i had it set on 2k6 n can't f'n remember how i did it way back then. Umm, isnt this supposed to be an impressions thread about the game and not the Twins? I'm following this thread for input on the game so i can decide if i want to get it, not hear about how the Twins got shafted.

Umm...I'm pretty sure that when I posted that, after playing about 2 games into my franchise, that was my impression of the game. The Twins got screwed in their rating as always and I was stating my frustrations about it.

As for my impression of the game now after playing for a while....I would say its an improvement over last year but not by much. It does look a lot better both in presentation and gameplay, but it doesn't play much better than last year. There's still annoying glitches like the ball going up thru the roof of the Metrodome and I'm sure any other dome, and then falling back thru. The batt and ball physics are terrible, I love how line drives can look like stright up pop up's on the swing replay. Stupid stuff like that annoys the hell out of me and this game, once again, is full of it. Overall I like the game tho, it's good enough, as long as I have a baseball game to play, I'm happy. BUT.....2k - FIX THE FREEZING PROBLEM! I don't know how, after last year, when some people had to wait like 3 weeks to get the patch to fix the freezing issue, they could do this again. My game has gone from freezing if I try to play like 3 or 4 games to now freezing after an inning of play or less. It is not a problem with my system, 2k needs to issue a patch like they did last year, and do it soon so I can play damnit.

ummm....

Luis Castillo
Nick Punto
Jason Bartlett
Lew Ford
Torri Hunter
Mike Cuddyer
Rondell White

Luis Castillo - are you trying to say luis castillo is not a good hitter? He may be getting old, but he still hit .296 last year, with 50 rbis as a lead off, 25 steals, and lead the team by far in total bases with 331, even tho his knees are ****ed. He might get ugly hits, but he gets them, which makes him a good offensive player. He has always been a great lead off man and there's no sign of him slowing down just yet. O and once again the ratings are based on LAST YEARS stats. O, btw he's also still a gold glove 2nd baseman ;)

Nick Punto - I am not saying he's the greatest hitter alive but ****, he hit .290 last year, as well as playing crazy d at 3rd.....

Jason Bartlett - young and getting better, great SS and ummm....O wow! He hit .309 last year! Craziness......He may have overachieved a bit last year at the plate, but he's improving and is a solid hitter for hitting 8 or 9 in the order.

Lew Ford - K I really can't argue with ya there, Lew has been horse**** the past couple years, I'm hoping he can pick it up but if not I think we'll get rid of him. We can do just fine w/o him.

Torri Hunter - Wow....do you watch baseball or just play baseball video games. He had his best offensive year of his career in 06....He's always gonna be around .275 in average but he gets big hits when they're needed, and also finally hit over 30 homeruns last year. So, you're wrong.

Mike Cuddyer - Hit .284.....24 homeruns.....109 rbis.....41 doubles....man he sucks huh

Rondell White - Dude....he had the worst 1st half ever last year. Yea it was ugly and he just had no confidence....but he picked it up in the 2nd half and got his average up to .246 which is pretter good considering where it was at the all-star break. I think he's gonna surprise people this year and hit a lot better. He's always been a good hitter in his career, he just a had a tough year last year. He also played surprisingly well in left too...although he has no arm, but still better than Shannon " Couldn't throw like a girl more if I tried" Stewart.

As for the rest of their hitters.....Jason Kubel is a sold hitter who played ok last year but was injured a lot. He adds some power to the lineup and should hit around .270, not great but not bad, and then we added Jeff Cirillo in the offseason for some veteran leadership from a guy who is a career .298 hitter and hit .319 last year. Seriously do you want more? I could keep going but I'm getting bored.

So basically, you were right about Lew Ford, but that's about it. The Twins were 2nd or 3rd in the MLB in team average I believe, had a MVP, and a batting champ, along with a solid lineup around them. So overall, I would say thats a pretty solid offensive team....definitely worthy of more than 1.5 stars. Just because they aren't all big name people doesn't mean they can't hit. I seriously don't know how anyone can argue that this team doesn't deserve more than that. Once agian I never said they were the best offensive team in the game, but certianly better than 2k gave them credit for.

Seriously..do you realize the team has more than two hitters?

You look at that and think about what you said for a while. Then punch yourself in the face, because you're retarded. Luckily for you I can decipher retard, so I know what you're trying to say, so no need to even try and explain it.

Lew Ford and Rondell White are two of the worst MLB regulars in the game.

Seriously..do you realize the team has more than two hitters?

LOL
You're retarded.

Ya see what I did there? I responded to your stupid statement with another one of your stupid statements. I will give ya Lew tho, he pretty much blows....

Class will be in session again tomorrow. Til then.....

The realism in this game is insane! I just fouled a pitch back into the announce booth and all of a sudden the announcer acts like it just about hit him. He then asks if everyone in his crew is alright and goes into a minute long thing about it. How cool is that!!

Twinsguy, stop spamming this sticky with Twins chat. There's a seperate channel for baseball discussions, create a thread there. I'm tired of filtering through twins info to get to impressions of the game.

I have to admit I HATED 2K7 for the first two days I had it. But now I'm a converted EA sport baseball guy. This game is GREAT. You have to be patient and learn the game. The sliders and options can help you get to a level that is as close to simulation as the game really is.
Nothing is better than seeing the fans fight for a foul ball and hold it up. Or play franchise mode and see that your guy at the plate is 2nd in the National League in Homeruns in your current season. I'm 15 games into a season and I'm still seeing cool things for the first time.
HOWEVER, ONE BIG problem with this game they have to fix immediately. I'm experiencing 50% of my games are "freezing" in Franchise mode. I returned one copy already and still having problems. Nothing is more frustrating. The first versions of these releases have bugs. (not unusual for this system I'm finding).

Liriano is in on the Twins roster... He's in triple-a

Friend and I have the same problem when trying to hit the ball hard, we push down to hard and the batter goes into bunt mode. Other than that I may need to find a MLB2K7 Anonymous group because I'm hooked!

Fix the freeze. My first impression is that the game is good, when it works. So far I can't get to the playoffs in franchise mode (the team qualifies, the game freezes every time I try to advance to the playoffs). I have tried some of the fixes posted in the forums (clearing the cache, simming certain times, etc.), but nothing works. Baseball without the playoffs is pretty lame.

i just figured this out yesterday.

press the lb (i think)... whatever displays the lineup card. Then highlight your players in the game and press A. Then highlight your pitcher and press A. Then you will have a short menu which includes mound visit.

hit the left bumper to bring up the lineup card and go to the lineup not to bullpen, select your current pitcher and it'll have a list of options including mound visit, there ya go.

well, i picked it up.

a lot to love, including the presentation.
the little things rock.
the lighting is unreal, i love it.

buuut, two glaring things might cause me to send the game back.

1) walks dont count on a pitchers ERA. ok, not cool.
ruins the stat tracking obviously.

2) camera views are atrocious.
why oh why cant hte camera angle during fly balls and homers be liek the old Triple Play series? you;d be able to track the home runs and they seemed more majestic.
I ha da guy hit a homer to the upper deck in right field at Yankee stadium and the only way i knew that was fromt he replay.
the in game view showed only the first two rows of the first row.
bah

3) non realistic hit balls.
hardly ANY foul balls in this game.

I've played both versions and the 360 one is obviously better. All reviews say so as well. Why? 360 has self-shadowing, HDR per pixel lighting, unified shaders, sharper detail, 1080p support, rumble, awesome crowd graphics compared to PS3's stick figures, grass and dirt textures are better, smoother gameplay and way less choppy frame rates, richer colors, etc etc

Does anybody know how to limit the computers wall climbing ability? It seems like it's making "play of the year" catches 2 or 3 times a game. It's very frustrating and very un-realistic.

Lower the CPU outfielder speed and raise errors to at least 80.

I love this game. It is so awesome. But ugh the little things. I was pitching with the bases loaded, 1 out, and I turned a 4-6-3 double play. 3 outs inning over right? well ya but the run from 3rd scored and COUNTED!?!??! For a game to strive for the accuracy that 2k7 strives for, to have an issue like this is just.. makes me sad. haha. but i love the game.

yea, that one is tough for me to take too, since I'm a big stats guy. It annoys me when they don't compute the stats correctly. I really hope they release some kind of patch to fix this.

the reason it does not count is because ERA means earned run average. even if the bases are loaded and you walk him in it is not considered a earned run. so it doesn't count towards your ERA.

This is by far the worst baseball game I have ever played, and I've been gameing for over 20 years. Original baseball on Nintendo was better. I have written 2K sports complaining about the horrible game play. Unfortunatly, there is nothng else to pick from. MLB The Show sucks too, but I didn't was $60 on this piece of crap. I want my money back. God knows the programmers don't deserve it. You can tell that not only was it half assed just to get it on the market, there wasn't a single exbaseball player working on this project. If there was, he should be shot in the head. This is the worst baseball game ever, and one of the worst games I've ever played period.

I have never really been a fan of baseball games but I can't stop playing this. I have 87 games played with a win percentage of 66%. I find that on normal difficulty settings the game plays badly but with slider tweaking it can be a really good game. I a, very impressed with the graphics and the game is just a bundle of fun for me.

the reason it does not count is because ERA means earned run average. even if the bases are loaded and you walk him in it is not considered a earned run. so it doesn't count towards your ERA.

If only that were true. In my dreams.

Explain how it is "not" an earned run. Where is the error? If walks were regarded as errors, I might have set a national collegiate record for WORST fielding percentage by a pitcher. :D

This game is only OK because they are the only ones that can make one. Have any of you ever even played MVP Baseball from EA from 03-05? For those of us that like realistic games, 2k7 isn't even close in a lot of ways. The closet comparison to 2K7 is slugfest.

- You can't effectively pitch inside without hitting a batter.
- You can hit HR's to the opposite field on pitches that make it physically impossible to do so (i.e. inside slider, off the plate...Sinker way low).
- The replays of home runs are hilarious because most of the time where the ball hits the bat in the replay, it would be an infield pop up.
- Sliders make almost no difference at atll (I've got the power and contact sliders down to 5 and still jack balls out like I'm Barry Bonds right after a cycle of roids and 3 Red Bulls)
- The umps routinely blow calls and you can't even argue most of the time
- Rookies NEVER develop into anything legitimate.
- The triple A and double A rosters are nothing but repositories for extra players, no one gets better in the minors.
- You can't make quick throws from the infield. Once your guy gets the ball and you want to throw somewhere else it takes him 3 seconds to set hit feet and throw.
- GM career is a joke. I understand the owner makes suggesstions but they don't make requirements. Stop telling me to get rid of a guy I just signed. It's GM mode for a reason, I WANT TO BE THE GM.

Ugh....When I see people praise this game it makes me sad inside. Do me a favor and buy an original Xbox, get MVP Baseball and play it for a week. After you fall in love, come back here and renounce your previous praise for this pathetic attempt at making a realistic baseball game. After playing and trying to like this game I am going back to me original Xbox, updating the rosters and players and playing MVP Baseball, the best and most realistic baseball game of all time!

I actually prefer the Sega Saturn WSBaseball games to MVP. I didn't like MVP. However, give the developers some time for 2K. The lead project designer of the MVP series is still working the kinks on the 2K game, and 2K8 will prove to be interesting, especially since the 2K8 lineup seems to really aim for the simulation group this year. If you played 2K6 for the 360, then you would notcie that the project lead did wonders in that one short development cycle. This year is the true test to see where the series is going. I don't think anyone praises the game, but it's not downright terrible like 2K5 and 2K6 were.

I need to get in contact with the tourney admin. I sent him a message pertaining to the 24 hours ago through the Chevy contact page but he has not responded. Over the course of the past month I have sent the touney admin The reason for this being so important is because the season is over now and it has moved onto the playoff and a playoff game has already been played! The issue is with my team not making the playoffs.
