At first they said it would come out sometime in Feb. then it was the 5th of march and now its march 19 and the 16 on walmart... I was soooo excited when I saw it was out on the 5th because it was just in time for my birthday but now its not comming out tell the 19 (sopposedly) I HOPE IT DOES THIS GAME IS GONNA BE AWSOME!!!! as of right now the game is out on amazon but i have not received my order yet, so i think it was a misprint on their part and it really is not coming until the 19th. Yes, the game should be out everywhere on the 19th as far as i know.

I know how you guys feel. Last year MLB 2K6 for the Gamecube was the same way. It kept getting pushed back and back until it was released over halfway into the season. For me, it was too late to get it. So I went a year wihtout baseball :( .

And now the same thing is happening wiht MLB 2k7 DS. I've been waiting forever for a baseball game to come out for the DS, but when one finaly is supposed too, it gets delayed.

Well the reason i posted was because today i recieved my issue of Nintendo Power Magazine. And in an article they have every issue they show new games that announced for every Nintendo system. And this issue has added MLB 2k7 for the DS, so atleast we know for sure its coming out. But it says its still in development so i think we are going to be waiting a bit longer for this game to come out.

Just thought i would share this information with you guys.

I picked it up today excited to finally have a baseball game for the DS and I have to say that it's a HUGE disappointment. 2K didn't put any effort into the game at all.

Overall I'd say it's a 1 out of 10.
- No Season Mode... you can only play Exhibition games, Postseason, All Star and home run derby. You can't sit down and play 162 games with your favorite team.
- Graphics look about GBA quality
- Music consists of maybe two MIDI sounding songs that play over and over again.
- Painfully slow movements and wait times between pitches.
- WiFi means you can play other people who own the game 30 ft. from you. There's no use of Nintendo's WiFi so you can play across the Internet.

I'd say it plays alot like a cell phone quality baseball game. Returning it to Gamestop tomorrow to get at least some of my $19.99 back.

I picked up this game today and...... it's pretty bad. Im so mad that 2K spent little time on this game! It couldve been great.

My main complaints about this game are:

1. Slow movements and the wait between pitches. :eek:
2. No Season Mode :thumbsdow

Minor Complaints:

1. Graphics could be better but wouldnt be bad if speed of gameplay was improved.
2. Name of ppl on the back of jerseys are missing.
3. Stadims are generic.
4. NO wifi
5. They couldve done something a little more special wiht the touch controls.

Even though there are a lot of problems with this game i will still probly end up playing it for a while.

Oh well i guess theres next year :dance:

2KSports should honestly give a refund to everyone who got this game, or call it back and give it back to us after they've improved it by 10000000000000000000000000000000000x

-No commentary( I was hoping for Joe Morgan and the other guy)
-I thought the DS was at least as powerful as an N64... this is like a 1980 game console..
-No Season Mode (even SNES had season mode)
-Can't adjust batting after you picked where you wanna hit (Unlike every other single baseball game out there)
- All you have to do to get an out if it hits a single is to misplay the ball and then quickly throw it to 2nd
-Stealing Bases way too ez (just run right after the you see the ball enter the air)
-Music.. what happened to the indie rock or w/e, there is just plain organ music.
-No uniform designs
-After you hit like 7 Home Runs in Home Run Derby, the pitcher starts throwing and mixing in changeups and knuckleballs....WTH??!!

Theres are only two things going for this game:
-updated Rosters (I think somehow getting every single person in the game took up a lot of space on the cartridge lol, I was actually surprised that slow real life players are kinda slowed down in the game too ie. Frank Thomas)
- Beating playoff mode actually takes as long as the average DS game, (8 hours?)

2K sports, PLEASE call back this game, and make improvements to it. I was already expecting a subpar DS game, but this game was extremely disappointing.

I got this game and I dont think its EXTREMELY bad its probably pretty much worth the 20 bucks. There was a few things that I dont like.. the graphics are good for the most part but the jersy and the stadium SUCK!! the player color and face are pretty good. NO SEASON?!?!?! Thats like making a basketball game without a hoop...NO POINT!! Its pretty hard to guess a pitch before it comes... So far I have also not found anywhere to trade players. Well I still have faith in 2K I think this was a last second desision and they didnt have time... well I guess theres always a next year, this game could be REALLY good but they were probably worried about the 360 and PS3 which turned out GREAT! Give them some credit they gave us the oppertunity to have a baseball game for DS the rosters are updated very good havent found a mistake yet... I say 6 out of 10 fix all of the above 10 out of 10 DEFENTLY!!

Why cant they just make a game like those old NES baseball games. Id love to have a portable Bad News Baseball or RBI 3....atleast those games had a descent frame rate...why does this game go so damn slowwwwwwww its so frustration.
