I have the 360 version of the game and when I was playing my friend online, the commentators kept giving away the pitch locations. D'OH! There was no way to turn off commentating and turning "catcher's suggestion" off didn't help either.

This is a pretty big problem if people are playing xbox live and the commentator says the catcher "sets up low and inside".

I suggest 2kSports looks at fixing this issue..

It's not that big of a deal if you really think of it. I know what you mean though. The first time I played online Jon gave mine away, I was like "Damn thanks Jon for just dropping a dime on me" LMAO. But really all you have to do is pitch somewhere else. Just think of it like real baseball, something that happens EVERY GAME, your opponent is stealing your signs.

It's not a big deal at all. It happens every now and then...not too frequently and they dont specify whether he wants it to be a strike or ball and you don't always throw to where your catcher set's up anyway. I change the location alot or just throw somewhere else.

Not a big deal.

Yeah I thought it was amusing myself. But this isn't anywhere close to a game killer. Infact they shouldn't even remove it. It actually works in the pitchers favor because not that's in the back of the hitters mind and you can mess with him

Do you guys know if each player in an online game hears the same commentary at the same time? I've always wondered if they're synced up that way. If it's true that they are, than it's not that big of a deal, I've been just readjusting where the catcher puts his glove.

I have actually heard the commentator saying whether the catcher wants the ball in the strikezone or not.

Of course, I change the pitch location too but it's a big deal to me cause it's something that should've been noticed long ago.

I agree with this somewhat, but it is also true that hitters can see catchers setting up.

Do you hear the same thing when you are up to bat and your opponent is pitching? If not, then maybe it's safe to say that the commentary is different for each player.

Very true, but in real baseball when the pitcher catches the hitter taking a peak at where the catcher sets up the next pitch is usually in the hitters ear hole. Can't really send the same message in a video game.

Both players hear the same commentary. When I was batting, the commentator was saying the catcher "wants this one low and away in the strike zone" and I couldn't believe he was saying that. I asked my friend if he heard what was said too and it said the exact same thing on his tv.

no...it's different. you don't even see the same things as your opponent.
