View Full Version : Stupid fielding camera!!!

When playing defense, the default (and only) camera is way too low, so we can't even appreciate the outfield. Defense is NO fun.

It is unbelievable that we cannot change the fielding cam, there is no excuse. When there is a flyball to deep center field, looks the same as a ball in shallow center field (or anywhere on the outfield) because the camera doesn't show depth. This is a killer for those who enjoy playing defense.

I feel like getting a PS3 just for The Show.

The camera is the way it is to show off the other details, for instance being close up when your player makes that homerun robbery grab or diving into the grass getting all stained up. I agree it needs to show more depth but that's what the little ball shadow is, wider the shadow, higher the ball. The real problem is the transition from the pitching cam to the fielding cam. If the player/computer gets a zinger on the ground you can forget about fielding it unless you have an alert infielder ready to make that diving save.
