Since I don't have the game yet, and the PS2 version seems to be abysmal from what I've heard, I need to ask a few questions about the game that aren't gameplay related...I realize this may seem foolish, but it appears the current gen versions are missing a ton of things that are confirmed in the next gen versions, so bear with me.

- Do they finally have Chien-Ming Wang's pitching windup correct? Like in the next-gen?

- Are the generic players for Igawa and Matsuzaka on the Yankees and Red Sox, respectively?

- Have any of the jerseys been updated?

- How about player animations...anything noticeably different from last year?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
DJ

There a few new animations. Dives are a lot smoother and fielding looks better. I didn't notice any new batting animations. The one thing I've noticed was that Bonds went into the stands to snag a fly ball. I've never seen that before in a PS2 game, so it was a pleasant surprise, but due to everything else I couldn't enjoy that animation again.

How about the Wang windup? It's not crucial, since I'm getting the game anyways, but it's been glaringly missing for the last 2 years, and I'm hoping they added it since its in the next-gens.

For those who don't know, Chein has a slow pull up over his head, stops momentarily, and then finishes the pitch (if you're not used to seeing it, I'll put a URL for a youtube video of it)

Thanks guys!
