Mound Visits

How do you do them? The computer can, but I can't seem to find a way.

Use the LB and select your pitcher from the game card. You should see some options. Also note that you can't do it if your manager has been ejected from the game.

okay, visit the mound...great. but, what's the point? can you do something by visiting the mound that you cannot do otherwise?

Yeah, delay the game so your bullpen pitcher can continue to warm up without giving up more hits. Also, it can calm your pitcher down if he's rattled.

Yes a mound visit can settle down a rattled pitcher which is a good idea if the ball is bouncing all over the strike zone when you're trying to throw. In case you didn't know, you must take the current pitcher out of the game if you visit the mound a second time in an inning.
