Guys I may be illiterate, but I get the feeling I am not since there were a few others in the lobbies complaining. How do you play online for this game on PS3. I am in the lobbies and accepted a challenge, but it will never start the game even though we accepted it to play. Am I doing something wrong? Am I not registered or something? Any help will be appreciated.

Probably has to do with a port forwarding issue. The same thing happened to me with NHL 2K7. I haven't read or heard yet which port needs to be forwarded for this to work yet.
I am not by it now, but this may be mentioned in the instruction manual in the Online section.

I think this is a 2K Sports issue that needs to be addressed ASAP! I am not a big fan of 2k Sports but was too impatient to waith until MLB 07: The Show came out so I went to buy this last night. Love the gameplay, graphics, etc., however, I am a big online player. It took forever to play someone last night and was very frustrating. I was showing 5 green bars on my screen, however, other people viewed me as 5 red bars on their screen. Not sure why this was happening. I was also the only one out of 18 players that was green at one point. The error message that appears tells you to check the online FAQ's but when you go there to check them, it's blank!?!? They need to patch this or at least explain to the users how to fix this and explain to people either on the web, instruction manual or somewhere, what each function means. I heard people have been experiencing this same issue with the other 2k games as well (hockey, basketball). Wish this server was as smooth and easy as RFOM.
