Played a game online last night on 360.I had 11 hits but my opponent(who also opted to use classic batting) beat me, even thjough he had 1 hit less, which of course is fine in of itself.Overall it wasn't a bad experience, unless you count the Speed Pitching cheese.
I don't expect people to take all day to pitch, but when you are button mashing constantly to get through the between pitch intervals and are throwing 3 pitches in 5 or six seconds, that can be a little cheesy
I think 2k needs to implement a slow, medium, or fast interval setting between pitches so as to allow players to decide the type of game they would like to play.
These intervals would be impossible to just hit a button to skip, and with the different interval settings, players who want a lightning fast game could still get it, with a little bit of respect for the batter kept intact.
I also feel that swing stick or classic should be a game option, as it is far easier to hit homers with the classic style. That way, both people would have to use the same style, whichever they would prefer.
