I DONT EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START, IVE BLOWN SO MANY GAMES BECAUSE I CANT HIT FREETHROWS, PPL PURPOSLY FOUL ME, IVE GONE TO PRACTICE MODE AND TRIED BUT DOESNT SEEM TO WORK, SOMEONE PLEASE HELP, PROPER RELEASE TIME OR JUST BASIC STRATEGY FOR IT

It should tell you whether your shot released early, late, or not straight. There's 25 different styles of freethrows, so the best I can tell you is to practice with the team you play with a lot, so you get used to every player's style. Also, get close to the screen and watch right when the ball leaves the hand because that's the exact time you should release.

I can tell you from my own personal experience that to hit free-throws you need to release the ball earlier than you would when playing offline. I asked one of the engineers about it and he said that due to the nature of online play and an unavoidable lag between the two consoles linked to the server, it is feasible that something as twitch oriented as the free throw shooting could act up like that.

So try releasing earlier than you would when playing offline. At the very least I can tell you that it worked for me when I got frustrated like you are...
