WILL SOMEONE TELL ME SOMETHING ON WHEN THE PATCH FOR XBOX WILL BE DOWNLOADABLE SO DOLBY DIGITAL WILL WORK ????

Yeah, the month-long delay here better mean they are also incorporating gameplay tweaks like fixing WR blocking, custom playbooks, etc. I'm tired of playing this game without my DD 5.1 home theater.

I've been wondering the same thing since we submitted the patch to Microsoft 2 weeks ago. The current official word is that it is scheduled to enter certificaiton testing on 10 / 16, but because the Xbox cert team is swamped it may not happen until the end of the month. This delay is on Microsoft. The patch does not change gameplay at all. It only fixes 3 known online divergences and the DD crash.

It says right there that it fixes the Dolby Digital crash.

It fixes the online crash after the game ends.... if you have Dolby enabled on your Xbox. The game still will not support Dolby Digital though :(

But it does already. I was playing the game in DD 5.1 when I first got it, before I started playing online. The blue light indicator on my home theater verified that a true DD signal was being received from the Xbox during the time I played ESPN.
It was at the end of online games when the lockup occured. But the game was indeed still being broadcast in DD 5.1.
I'm a little ****ed that they are not going to patch any gameplay issues, though. That's going to seriously reduce my long-term gameplay - at least online.

We support DD, but MS screwed up the packaging and said we didn't. They also said we support 720p when we don't. I think that's explained in the FAQ somewhere.

My xbox is set to DD 5.1 and I use a DD 5.1 system and I haven't had any problems!!

Yeah, they need to fix some game play glitches. Such as the defensive holding glitch. Every time that I'm in man-to-man coverage and the other person runs a play action pass, my inside linebacker tackles the guy he is covering just as the pass is being thrown. This is terrible and forces me to play zone most of the time.
