At the wall

I have played about 5 games now and am having a hard time going up to rob a potential home run. I have been robbed about 10 times(Pujols robbed 3 times in one game) and it's getting frustrating I am unable to do the same. Does anyone have any thoughts as to what I may be doing wrong. I run to the wall, and press up on the right stick and either run into the wall, or dive. I have even tried this while sprinting. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

you need to "click" the RS as well as push up

Is it just me, or does the computer rob too many homers???
Its like they have mad skillz and can take to stepsa up a will and then rob it outta no where, 2 feet beyond the homerun wall.

you also have to hit up on the right stick well before you get to the wall, when the icon to jump appears while you are running is a good time

Make sure you "click" the right stick as well as push up on it for this to work, I did tons of faceplants before I figured it out.

Does everyone else have the same problem where you can't time your jump right because the camera only shows approx 5ft over the outfielder's head? It seems like the camera should be zooming out more on potential long balls. Does anyone know if the camera pans out on a "no-doubter" during actual game play like in MLB2k3 and 2k4?

you don't have to click it, theres no reason for this, i dunno why it's being said. All you have to do is run towards the wall and when prompted to, hold the right stick up (like you would for other fielding dives etc) If the prompt doesn't come up then your screwed because the ball is to far over the wall.

all you got to is play with exhibition game and use the team thats pitching (home or away just always pick the team thats on D) and throw "meat'
all day and you can practice robbing homers, just tap the pitch button once so it will be a easy
pitch for the CPU to hit and go to town!. That how learned, I just not good with the infielders
diving catches.....just can't get it. Pssssssssssssssssssss!
