I wouldn't exactly say it sucks personally, but I noticed alot more framerate trainwrecks while batting in this year's version than in 2K6. not the best thing when trying to hit a 100+mph fastball/12+ inch breaking ball...
If you have an XBox, or plans to get a next gen console in the near future, get that version. I would have skipped the PS2 version ( I hate memory cards ) if GameStop had been straight w/ me about the eventual availability of an XBox version.
