help on profile please

has anyone else had problems selecting a profile at the interface where you select which team you want to play for? in my franchise i have set up all my sliders and options like i want them and saved my profile but when i go to the calendar to play a game, it wont let me select my profile at the team selection screen (before linueps are set). can someone please help me with this?

PS: this is for the Xbox 360 and all i have is a memory card - do you have to have the hard drive to play with a profile, maybe?

All you need is about 2.5 Mb of storage for franchise and 110Kb for the profile. I logged into my profile before creating a new franchise and it stuck.
