Sorry kid but to be honest, you have no shot at all in this Tournament. In all these big Tounaments hosted, they always ran strict rules and never really altered them. The 1 rule they usually change is the amount to qualify. But the age limitations, I'm sorry but you will be out of luck.

The Contest is open to U.S. residents who have reached the age of majority in their respective states of residence. Employees of 2K Sports, General Motors Corp, their affiliates, subsidiaries and divisions, their agencies and their immediate family members, regardless of whether they reside in the same household, are ineligible to participate. Void in Vermont, Maryland, Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law.


No where in the official rules does it state you must be 18. If you could please explain the bold in more detail that would be great. Thanks.

its 18,,,, the age of majority is a voting term....so basically when you can vote(18)...makes sense to me most states you cant drive till 17-18 now anyway.....

To register for the tournament--and therefore be eligble to win the trip to the Final 4--you can look in the rules where it clearly states: "Contestants must be 18 years of age (born on or before March 11th, 1989)"

Now, the person they bring with them to the Final 4 as their guest...no age restraints.

1. Get the Game


To get started, you need the game. College Hoops 2K7 from 2K Sports can be purchased at almost any electronics store, department store, or toy store. Each registrant must have a copy of the Xbox or Xbox 360 version of 2K Sports' College Hoops 2K7. If you do not already own the game, go to www.2ksports.com/choops2k7.

Here's how this will all go down:

1. At 11:59pm PST tomorrow night (Sat, 3/10) qualification will end.
2. The admins will take the list of qualifiers and remove (DQ) anyone's who's DOB is after March 11, 1989. So if you were born on March 12, 1989, you will be DQ'd from the tournament tomorrow night.
3. The four winners of the tournament will need to fax 2K Sports copies of their valid driver's license or passport in order to win the trip to the Final 4. If someone at that point is under 18, they will be DQ'd and the person who finished 5th in the tournament will be contacted.

Make sense?

Granted the hole in this plan is that if someone lied in their age when making their Xbox Live account. There is not much we can do about that unfortunately. But if they win the PVFF tournament, they will get DQ'd in the end and alternates will be selected.
