Problems with the game

I just baught mlb 2k7 for the xbox. i am having many problems with the game, i am having serious trouble hitting i always ground out or pop out i never can get a base hit and when i do i never can take advantage of it. next every time i hit a "home run" the outfielder of the other team jumps 50 feet to rob me of a home run every time. does anybody have any clue whats goin on here and can some body please help me

Don't worry. It will take time to get used to the gameplay. I get frustratted to when they rob almost every homer i hit, but you still have to find a way to win.

You could also change sliders.

have any ideas for some sliders for regular xbox

r u using classic hitting or swing stick. Classic is easier I find, some people may say too easy. But if it makes the game more fun who cares? If it gets too easy either jackup the difficulty or switch to swing stick.
