View Full Version : TOURNAMENT QUALIFYING NUMBERS INCREASED!

It's official, the number of people that will be qualified for the tournament will be significantly higher than the 48 Xbox and 148 Xbox 360 originally specified in the rules.
Here are the new amount of qualifiers on each platform:
Xbox: 64
Xbox 360: 512
That's a 3x increase! We're really excited to be able to this--your level of enthusiasm for the tournament has been astounding and we thank you for it!
Best of luck, people--look forward to meeting 4 of you in Atlanta in a few weeks! Be sure to check your inboxes for your qualification emails from the tournament admins--don't forget to check the spam filters too! You do not want to miss that email!

And after I just won my last game, I was ranked 144! Good to see more in the Tournament though, I can't wait until it starts. And Admin, will you guys be able to watch all the games once the Tournament starts?

I'm going to let the Tourney Admin give the definitive answer here...but I believe that if you updated in with Xbox Live so that MS has your latest email address that will mean that we have access to your latest email address. But let the Tourney Admin chime in with the 100% accurate answer...

My gamertag is registered on the pontiac board but when i log onto forums it still uses my old gamertag if that is a problem how do i handle that. 2khooppster you can reach me at phocus614@hotmail.com or phocus740@msn.com

so long as you have a good email address associated with the gamertag you have been using to qualify for the tournament, you will be good.
In fact, even if your email is BAD, you can always go to http://virtualfinal4.2ksports.com and login there on Monday morning to see your status, next games, rank you choices for teams to draft, etc.

So, for all those under 18 will they not advance to this next round and those only eligible be moved up in rank due to so many probably going to be dropped?
That only makes sense to me, why even have people that can't win take up space for others who can.

Lol DEazy on Xbox the Number 1 player just said he recored stuff and there is 18 guys over 18 and 236 guys under 18 on original Xbox. You should be able to take a parent with you and let them drive the car home.

That only makes sense to me, why even have people that can't win take up space for others who can.
This should be done as well as removing all of the duplicate entries on the leaderboard. I really want to play in this tournament but I am currently ranked in the mid 600s =(

You should be fine. What is your current gamertag and email address? If you registered through Pontiac with an invalid email, you will not be able to receive our emails.

The leaderboard will be scrubbed for duplicates and ineligible registrants--like if you are under 18 or live outside the US or in Vermont, Maryland or Puerto Rico.

ok admin heres what the problem is my gamertag is linked with traylor1027@verizon.net i no longer have verizon. so my new email which is on my dashboard is christinmorio@comcast.net. but i log in ur 2ksite with taylor1027 because its linked with my gamertag and that can not be changed. thank u

I read somewhere that the average age of an Xbox Live player is 32.

man quit grabbing at straws, BEFORE u even started playing games registration said 18 or OLDER...but instead of u idiots saying o well, i'll play when im 18. You try and be slick and register and play anyway and then ***** when u dont get in tourny.
