I have several complaints regarding the mishandling of the development and testing of MLB 2K7. They are as follows:

1. Besides the fact that classic controls are nearly impossible to use, the game is almost the exact same game as MLB 2K6. The rosters are updated, the Diamondbacks new uniforms are in the game, but the commentary is almost completely the same and the presentation aspects are also completely the same. The game contains no new features.

2. When you compete in a GM career mode game that you saved in progress, you end up playing in Chase Field. I will note here that this occurred while I was using the New York Mets, in games I saved in the top of the first inning, against both the St. Louis Cardinals and the Atlanta Braves (both away games for the Mets). This is a ridiculous glitch that should have been easily caught.

3. My personal opinion is that the GM career structure used on the PS3 could have been converted to the PS2. It was converted to the PSP version, but for some reason the PS2 version uses last year's GM career structure.

Overall, I am a very disappointed and dissatisfied customer with the PS2 version of this game. The second problem is really huge, in my opinion, because it definitely changes a person's game plan when they have to prepare for the different dimensions that the new ballpark creates. It also takes away from any realism that could be provided by the game. While I know some people might say to play a game until its conclusion, it is not always easy to do so, as other circumstances may prevent this from happening, and to see it be perfected in the PS3 version makes me more disappointed in the lack of perfection shown here.

I also must admit that the rating numbers are definitely absurd in the frequency of players rated 100, but that doesn't bother me as much as these other mistakes.

Dude, get a PS3, or better yet, get a 360. As much as it sucks they dont care about old-gen systems. Update, its worth it.
