I read a lot of posts about 2K7 for old Xbox. Yes there are a lot of problems with the game, most of which are annoyances more than real problems.

I played a lof of MVP 05 on the PC and it is a good game, but has limitations.

When I bought an Xbox one of the first games I bought was MLB2k6. I liked it a lot but was dissapointed about many items. Here is what I like about 2K7:

Pitching interface
Batting view is close not like 2K6 which was way behind batter.
Overall graphics good but a few glitches.
Game never crashes.
John Miller and Joe Morgan commentary is good but often makes incorrect statements. That 2K7 didn;lt fix these from 2K6 shows a lack of concern for customers IMHO.
By adjusting sliders, you can get excellent, competitive gameplay.

Things I don't like:

The AI is not the best at times, when down 4 or 5 runs the Ai tries to steal. This doesn't happen in the game often
AI defense never misses a diving catch again too unrealistic.
Stats screw up in game. Infield hits, close plays are not counted as hits or errors.
The aforw mentioned commentary - I usually play with it turned off except for the Playoffs. What I find interesting is that the pregame commentary before John and Joe is very accurate and while sometimes repetitive is pretty good.
Very seldom does an injury occur during a game, even with slider at 50.

There are other items that are good and bad but those are what come to mind.

Overall I enjoy the game and play everyday. I would like a better game and would pay to get it but so far for Xbox or PC - this is the best I have played.
