Is the pontiac going to really be in MOP difficulty. i don't understand.... ranked games are all american. i have never played anything but ranked games. if the pontiac is in mop this seems kinda unfair since a lot of us have never even played on MOP. I just think the pontiac should play the same as how we qualified to get in.

I am open to changing it. Currently, it is set to MOP but can be changed to All American.
I went with the settings I personally felt were the most realistic and fair. However, I will discuss this with some people and make a final decision later today.

admin please keep it at mop its fairer to pull off upsets because teams like ohio st and carolina make every 3 on all american
mop is true skill ball movement not as much relting on the cpu to make every 3 it takes more realistic fg percentages
thank u

ty if it's mop i'll play mop but mop would severely hamper the new players who aren't used to that setting while some of the "old pros" already know what that setting plays like. like the guy said 3 point shooters you are done...well i wouldn't say done but this setting will double the amount of dunks seen in a game. this setting makes it harder to hit jumpshots and we have enough dunks and in particular we have a problem with people who already spin into the paint and score every point in the paint or go baseline every play. everyone is used to playing all american we have all been playing it for months.only the elite players will want mop just to add to the advantage they already feel they have.i have played two games on mop and the difference shooting an open jumpshot was drastic. these games were nothing but paint fests. for anyone defending mop plz give logical valid reasons not just......it uh makes it harder. who does making the game harder help the new players or the old players. the rich just get richer. i dunno about you but i would hate playing unc with albany on mop.

no instead of relying on the cpu to make your three(which is not true at all) you would rather have the cpu alter probabilities of shots going in. you would rather have the cpu play mop defense for you to help you cheese. you already know you are going baseline every play why wouldn't you want it on mop.

i think MOP is the best setting it cuts down the accuracy of quick release shots.....computer actually plays weak side D......and you will not make every layup...it makes you play smarter. i think that snice its the championship it should be on hardest setting
you have a good point though NAE i agree 90% but i do think that MOP will hurt base line drivers becuase the d actual will try to roatate over...

i see what you are saying 2 Lazy.... i hate the quick release also but i think thats less abused than the baseline and spin glitch. now i know that some layups are going to be missed on mop but ask yourself this. is a cheesers best weapon a quick release three or the points in the paint bs. for me its not even close top cheesers don't even shoot three pointers.

How about just making MOP lobbies in general? I got murdered with that baseline force glitch during qualifying. I'm sure once the majority of guys play one game and see the same cheese doesn't work they'll no show the remaining games.

i dont think the tournament should be played on mop ONLY for the fact that weve BEEN playin on all-american all year long...HOWEVER...the RANKED games in my opinion should ALWAYS be played on mop...its the toughest most realistic setting and its the setting i play my friends (offline) and my legacy on...its just flat out more realistic and your computer teammates actually play WITH you instead of standing around admiring the other teams jumpshots/dunks...next year you guys should make it so that the ranked games are played on mop...

I think since qualifying games were play with All American, the bracket games should be played with the same settings.

To be honest you are going to have cheese both ways so either way does not matter to me but your cpu defenders do actuallly play d on mop so it would make it harder to score from anywhere on the court not just jump shooting. If all cheesers were banned that would be nice
but hey nobody is perfect good luck everyone except cheesers you know who you are.

i do think that games should be MOP....it just makes sense to have the tourny for the best player on the hardest settings.....

sweet thanks TA thats the fair decision for sure. I have played 600 ranked games on all american and 2 games on MOP. People shouldnt be penalized for playing ranked games only.

i like MOP even tho i havent used it, im cool with anything that promotes ppl to play smart ball instead re-living the old NBA JAMS days, lol

It should be on MOP settings for tournament cuz now its the best 64 players on XBOX and 500 so for 360.

I have to go with MOP setting as well. We all have been playing on All American so there really is no advantage to any of the players that qualified. Now 2K will not be represented by some people who look to take advantage of the game's flaws while playing on All American such as driving baseline, spin glitch, and chucking 3s all game. It will be that more difficult for cheesers to win on MOP.

he already said it was gonna be all american. we don't know who has played 100 games on mop and who has played 2 games. how is mop gonna cut back on cheese it will only encourage it. this is simple logic to me.......you increase the difficulty making it harder to hit jumpshots. this HELPS the cheeser because he doesnt take jumpshots anyway.... hes going baseline every play or hop spinning into a dunk down middle of paint. sure a few more layups are gonna miss but why would the cheeser ever bother to shoot then. i can already see relentless battles of throw it down low and wait for the first guy to jump from the few people who won't cheese. like rebel said if the ranked games were mop that would be one thing but they are not so keep it fair please. all you people thinking norcalballa is going to start passing the ball around looking for the open man just cuz its MOP need to get real ...it will just force more people to play like him.

I realize what you all are saying and yes MOP is simply the most fairest setting. BUT naeblis is right, how can you qualify under all-american and then play the qualified games under MOP... This will frustrate many many players and im sure there are plenty who havent even realized this.
