Hey I was wondering how the time scheduling works I read that its like between 7-9:45 EST on weekdays and 2- something on the weekends... but what if you and ur opponent both agree to play at a more convienent time and for those times what if the game starts at 9:44 does it still count? whats the point of having those scheduled times if you can play any time? or is it just to help out?

Thank you, my gamertag is SRob412 just so you know

I won this tournament last year and TA2 is really cool about rescheduling games as long as you have a valid argument/reason. My advise to you though is if you do have an agreement to reschedule the game, make sure you have an email from your opponent for proof.

Last year my opponent sent me an email to reschedule. I agreed. I didn't show up on the websites time, only the time my opponent emailed me. Turns out he tried to trick me and reported me as a no show. I had email proof of the time he wanted to play...so I got the win in the end.

If the game is played, it will be counted. The times are guidelines and the tourney will run smoother if they are played on time or EARLIER.. You have to remember that they have to mirror the actual tournament games so a window of time has to be placed on the games.. Imagine if it was up to us 512 xbl players to schedule our own games..They're would have to be a TA2 -TA100 to sort out that headache.

Thanks for that, Bama. Yes, if you are going to reschedule a game better to do it earlier than your designated time rather than later. If you do reschedule it for later, keep a cop of the email as proof. What happens is at the end of a round, all no-shows are accounted for and teams are progressed by hand by the TA's.

And this year, remember:

SCHEDULE YOUR GAME EARLY AND PLAY IT WITHIN THE FIRST 10 HOURS OF A ROUND STARTING AND AT THE END OF THE TOURNAMENT YOU WILL GET 200 XBOX LIVE MARKETPLACE POINTS GOOD FOR USE FOR ANYTHING ON XBOX LIVE MARKETPLACE.

We strongly encourage all games to be played before the scheduled times. However, if the games are not played when I go to advance the brackets, I will assign wins based on who was in the lobby at the scheduled time.

Admin, quck question here. I looked at the game times on the bracket and noticed that on Wednesday and Friday everyone has first round games at 8:00 and 8:45. What would happen if your game at 8:00 goes to double or triple overtime and you can't make your 8:45 game? Also, can you watch other tournament games?

All of your first round games will be scheduled against the same person. For example, 1 will play the 16th seed in all four regions.

You will then start the 2nd game as soon as the 1st game is completed. In fact, you can play all four games in one night if you desire.

What if I pick Florida in the auto draft and the 16 seed gets Jackson State. Then in the second round he gets Texas and I get Virginia Tech? Since, I would play the game vs. Illinois and the guy who has Jackson State would play whoever Texas plays in their second game how would we have the same person? What my question is really asking is how do you know that the number 1 and 16 seeds will draft teams that play each other in the real tournament? Any clarification would be appreciated.

NOTE: IF you play all 4 of your first round games within the first 10 hours of Round 1 being open you will get 200 x 4 = 800 Xbox Live Marketplace Points.

Yes. We will start the 10 hour clock from when the Admins get the brackets fixed.
