Xbox Rosters Upadate, No Live!

Is there roster update for Old-Gen Xbox? This is very important. :confused:

I think that there is but you can only use it online ...
I haven't been able to load the rosters into an offline game or franchise mode . :(

I rented this game to try it out. I own the Xbox ver as well, and without an ability to update rosters while not being on xbox live is VERY disappointing. I have no interest in Xbox live, and I refuse to purchase it just for this one update. There has GOT to be another way to update the rosters... If not, I will be very glad I never bought it. Does anyone know where to find an update for the Xbox? :confused:

I know that if you get an action replay for xbox you can download files from the internet. I used to do it for NHL and NFL games back when i had time to play games (damn school). But i was also considering getting this game, and i only have an xbox, so if anyone put rosters on the internet it would pretty much gaurentee my purchase of this game. If not, i might just get like 2K3 and do a fantasy draft and kick it old school.
I know this really doesnt help finding one, but if someone updates theirs manually, they can put it on the internet for the rest of us to enjoy.

its a thing that you buy, that you can hook up a memory card to your computer, so then you can download files off of the internet and save them onto your memory card and then save them onto the hard drive on your xbox
you can find at pretty much any store that sells video game junk - best buy, futureshop, etc etc.
