does every one know that barry bonds ONLY has 58 more rbi's than palmeiro.i think palmeiro is one of the most if not the most underrated player in baseball.a solo homerun is equivalent to 1 rbi.so if barry has hit 150 hr's more than palmeiro does that make barry bonds that much better run producer than rafael palmeiro.this is a tough debate.although palmeiro never stole 500 bases in his career.i dont think barry ever stole home.thus proving my point that palmeiro is just as good a clutch hitter.please post any other players you feel underrated or any comments about my post.

Really two questions here? How does Bonds compare to Palmerio and is Palmerio over/under rated?
To qualify this I have to say that I really do not like Bonds. However, Bonds is dominant and has continued getting dominant as he has gotten older (steroids or not) while the number of his official AB's have decreased to around 400 compared to Palmeiro who regularly has about 600 AB. Bonds stats are better than Palmeiro's and much better when you consider all the parameters of official AB's, Palmeiro DHing, Gold Gloves, Bonds 6 MVP's and as you mentioned SB. Is Palmeiro under rated? I don't think so, he's a threat and a future HOF and valued by teams such as the Orioles and the contending Cubs who he refused to go too to stay with the last place Rangers. So, he is valued and wanted. But does he or anybody change the game like Bonds at 39/40 years of age.......No.
