Does anyone know why the online mode won't start it says refer to this website so i am hoping you guys can please help me

Apparently the problem is that nearly all users cannot issue valid challenges. Everyone can issue & accept challenges, but for most of us, the game won't actually start once a challenge is accepted.
Some people, for some reason, have the ability to issue valid challenges, so if you can find one of them in a lobby, and they invite you, you'll be able to play online.
Would be nice if someone from 2ksports contributed some help on this topic.

it does that every once in a while to me....but only every once in a while...i just sign off and back on and i can play....
