in-game score streams from real NHL games

latch on to the stats feed and do the in-game stats if someone's on live.

i don't care about highlights from other player games, but having real NHL scores in the game would be awesome.

edit: do it in the same style as ESPN...the black edging with scores along the bottom.

That is a really cool idea. It would also be cool if,(I'm assuming next years will have some sort of built in online league) your league scores were streamed and inbetween the periods maybe a few highlights from league games. I know the highlights might not be possible, but the league scores should be.

If you're talking about real life NHL scores as the games are played all while you are playing ESPN hockey, while as cool as it would be I highly doubt it would even be do-able - or at least for the price that we're putting down for this game that is.

What would be more realistic, and probably as cool, would be reports of scores of other games going on within your own season/franchise.

Even something like a news ticker tape along the bottom showing scores, trades, injuries etc... That would be something they could do.

The tickers were cool in the old 2k games...but they did get distracting sometimes, even when the play stopped.
