Can someone help a rookie out? I started playing the game in the lowest difficulty and it was too easy. I went up level but now whatever I do, it seems like I can't pitch. If I barely miss a corner the batters don't swing and if I hit the strike zone, even painting a corner, they take me yard.(well pound the crap out of the ball). Can you more experienced players give me some tips. Thanks.

I like the start them with a change up on the outside corner. They almost never swing at the first pitch if it's off speed, they wait for something better. Strike one. Now you can blaze one high and tight (the hitters with the high strike zones have a hard time hitting high heat) or start a curve off the plate and let it break over the plate...strike two. They might chase one now if you know what you're doing. Start something in the zone and let it break out of the zone. Sliders, sinkers, cutters, splitters, curves, etc, all work well here. Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike heeeeeeeee! He's out of there.
You don't have to strike them out on three pitches all the time either, show them one or two out of the zone especially if you want to show them something that they're not going to see in the strike zone.
