Recruiting Issues I shouldn't have

I'm really frustrated with recruiting thus far. I was with Dartmouth for 2 seasons, then went to Miami (OH) for 3 seasons then got my dream job with Duke.

I'm at Duke so I should be doing pretty well right. I have all stats at A+ except scouting and discipline. Discipline is at B and Scouting is at C. I've been at Duke 4 seasons, 2 Championships and 2 Final Fours. I use my phone calls, emails and house/campus visits. I have the people at 100%. I'll be #1 on their list but somehow when I go from sunday to monday I get screwed and lemme say Syracuse and BC are gonna have some sick squads soon.

I usually do whatever visits I can get on Monday. Then do phone calls Tuesday. Then do an Email each day until Sunday then of course Monday is next so I just repeat. I even start recruiting at the sophomore lvl I request game tapes then when they are juniors I do the phone call email workout the whole time. I even somehow had a recruit pulled from chapel hill which is MUN and they went to flippin Syracuse even though his first priority was playing close to home. Actually it could have been one of the three but I know it was on there.

What do I need to do differently or am I really just that unlucky and should stop playing this game now?

First you need to upgraded your scouting,because you can get 3* or 4* players that are better than 5* players.At my first school i could ownly get 2* or 3* players,but they were the best i could find.Why?because i used all my couaches points on Scouting and recuiting.Which made a big difference.That made my team alot stronger.Due to the fact i had strong recuits comming in my team got alot better.

Its not that my team isn't good I was the back to back champ then back to back final four appearances. One of my other coaches is A+ at scouting and A- at charisma so I know how good the players are thats why I want to get them but why do I keep getting my recruits stolen I have stuff going week long.

Oh yea just so you know Syracuse had 5 All Americans, 4 Mr. Basketballs, and 6 5 star recruits. They haven't been past the second round the entire time I've been playing. What gives? Does the computer always get an advantage or what

Going to sound stupid but do you offer them scholarships early? or late?

If they are 100% for you and have no offers yet then offer them and you are guaranteed to get it.

yeah but when should you offer the scholarship...early or late??? I always offer as soon as I find a guy that I really want to come...

i offer mines early once i get them to about 80% i offer it to them.If you wait they will sign with someone esle.Plus,i have made it to the power schools.I am now the head coach of Wisconsin.Leaving santa clara with 3 NC,3 regular season champs,4 conf touney, and i final four.i have lined up 4 all-americans comming in next year.
